    Yup.
When he does his patented head down draw a foul drive to the basket, you almost have to wonder: "What was the point of that?"

How was Trevor? Didn't look too bad on the stat sheet.

10 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 0 turnovers. Got to the line plenty too, seems like he's being more aggressive.

Agree. Even veterans will have off-shooting nights.

The difference between veterans and rookies is that veterans will still find ways to contribute realizing that they are having such nights (e.g. drive to the basket, kick out pass, draw fouls, etc.).

Chase has a decent handle but he can be a bit shaky at times when driving to the basket. He needs to polish his off-the-dribble game for him to become a consistent contributor on the team.

Didn't see most of the game. Can someone break it down for me? I saw that Andersen had a hot shooting night. And something about injuries????

I am wondering how DD feels Chase's performance tonight.

Does anybody know what happened to Will Conroy? He's my favorite pg on this team that probably won't make it... I think he's a better facilitator than AB... AB is just a SG in a PG body...

Glad to see him playing incrementally better... like some members have mentioned, sometimes he just tries too hard. He just needs to relax and play within the flow of the game. That's when he's the most effective... At least do so until he gets comfortable with being the top 3 scoring option / facilitator / or what ever role he's trying to fulfill. But give the man some time, I'm sure he will get better as he plays more.

Are you guys starting to be convinced by David Andersen as a good front line compliment to Scola, Landry and Hayes? I think his skill set fits in well with the Rockets style of play and certainly their front court. I was so excited when I heard he was heading to the Rockets as I thought he'd be a perfect compliment to the undersized, hustle-style banging rebounders.

I know that I'm biased being an Aussie, but what do you guys think about him as a player, and how he fits into the front court with Yao out?

Lowry's been over 80% from the line in 2 out of 3 seasons

My guess is that Adelman decided to give Temple (and other new players) more minutes to evaluate them better, while maybe giving Conroy some rest.

I think that Andersen has the perfect offensive game for a back-up center.

If he can continue to develop of defense, then I think we may have found our back-up for Yao.

    But......his defense must improve.

Why didn't Dorsey get a run? He's been the Rockets best rebounder in games he's played. Is his foot acting up again?

For me, David Andersen looks like a good complimentary piece to the team. I like his mid-range game, attitude, and that he is taller than the rest of our front court (sans Yao). He also seems to fit well with the team and able to find his shots within the flow of the offence.

But he really needs to bulk up a bit, work on his post and pick n' roll defence, and positioning. Positioning might be the most important aspect for him to improve on; we all know that he is not very agile and therefore has to rely on good positioning to be a good defender (like shane).

I know it's his first season in the NBA and he still needs time to adjust, so I like what I've seen so far.

He's actually pretty decent from the line, but he was terrible tonight.

I'm not getting my panties in a wad over tonight's fiasco. Heck, if Kyle had made half the free throws he missed, we'd have won. Most worrisome thing tonight: our first-half transition D. One off night for Bud won't get me off his bandwagon. Did anyone else see Bud foul Ilyasova's foot with his butt? Nice call, ref. Andersen's coming along nicely. Ariza improved a little bit tonight. Perhaps I'm the champion of lost causes, but I think we've got enough fire power to go at least as far as we went last year. Maybe further, if Yao does a Willis-Reed-limping-into-the-arena act come playoffs... No matter the outcome, our guys will be easy to root for.

Guys that look to me like they're gone soon: Temple, Pops, Dorsey. All three are athletic, but can't make baskets. (I'd keep Chuck as our sole non-offensive, pure defender-- call Chuck the Professor, because he's got tenure.) Beck--was he even in the gym tonight? Ever? I assume Barry's gone. Looks like we're stuck with Cook, since he's under contract, and he's actually scoring a few points. Cook will be our human victory cigar.

As of now, the roster looks to me like:
    1. AB, KL, WC
    2. CB, JT, (TM)
    3. SB, TA
    4. LS, CL
    5. DA, CH, BC, (YM)
