after this game, I realized Giannis has inflated numbers and doesn't even deserve to be the leading MVP candidate. All his rebounds are from him playing the center position. Bucks have their actual center, Lopez camped out at the corner and run on fast breaks. Giannis is basically getting Westbrook's levels of rebounds except he's even taller. His team clearly don't need him to perform like Harden has to every night. Giannis had a pretty mediocre night for someone who only scores at the rim. He has no outside shot or 3pter and is just okay at the FT line. The Bucks have a good record only because they get to play more tanking teams in the East, it's the same reason why Raptors are always a top seed in the East. If they were in the West, they likely wont even be in the top 4. If Harden loses the MVP to Giannis this year, it'll be worse than losing to Westbrook's triple-double MVP year.
Worst game of Capela career, yet no nene, and not even a back to back. No Clark after a great 5 minutes. MDA is just bad sometimes
Good effort against the #1 ranked team. Rockets have been so good that I forgot we're not near full strength.
Harden had to play the whole fourth quarter, we would of never had the comeback if he didn't, unfortunately when he plays the whole fourth his legs are usually dead at the end.
Your right but he did shoot us out of it but I'm fine with it... this is the type of defense he will deal with in the playoffs. I see Harden going ham in the playoffs this time.
And maybe try Nene since Capela was ineffective and play Clark in the second half who was actually good in the first half.
He's not even close. He's just 6ft 11 and strong. If you put a good defending player on him, he won't score that much in the paint.

Clint should have f’d up Lopez... I'm not too mad about the loss but Lop Capela is pretty much the reason for tonight’s loss... Unfortunately, even though Brook is a borderline scrub... he’s just too big for Capela and it showed. If Nene could have given us some solid minutes might have been a different story...
Would have liked to see Clark get some minutes this game his length could have helped in the paint. Wish we would have made Lopez and Ilyasova defend on the perimeter a bit more as well they just let him stand down there and do exactly what they wanted
It’s impossible for JH to shoot us out of anything tonight when he was the ONLY one that could make anything. He cannot blamed even a tiny bit this game. He was our best defender too
Of course they're one of the top teams in the east..... but I doubt that's something to brag about. They're a boring and a predictable side to watch. They defend well and hit their shots in the paint quite decently...... we don't.
yes. This is all about resting Harden. Gary and Ennis played well in the 1st half with defense and shooting. Hate all you want on Ennis but he was doing well on Giannis with his length. The small lineup was working.
