As well as Snyder played (I thought he did some good things against Dallas as well), I don't think JVG will play him over Bonzi. And with Luther getting 25 minutes a night, Snyder will be pushed out of the rotation again.

I think he's in a situation where there's pretty much no way he can play himself into the rotation.

I think we will see him do some good for us next game and against Dallas. Especially if everyone starts sucking again against Dallas like they did on Friday.

Van Gundy said he expects Wells to be ready by Tuesday, and he's also said that he's not going to play Wells and Snyder. So, we may not even see Snyder play again for a while.

I just don't understand this. What the hell is so wrong with putting both on the floor for a few minutes?

because they're both slashers that can't shot worth crap. Plus they both rebound and neither are really turnover safe nor do they have high bball iq.

Snyder doesn't turn it over that much, and considering how often he takes the ball into traffic I'd say he takes very good care of the ball. He nearly has a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Bonzi on the other hand ... eesh.

i may be wrong on the way staticians count them, but post players like bonzi and yao have a higher turnover rate due to the new zone rules which make it easier to deny the post player. i think whenever a post pass is made into the post that leads to a TO it is credited to the post player and not the entry passer. i am not positive on this but i think as long as yao or bonzi gets a hand or something on the ball its credited to them regardless of how bad of a pass the entry player made

nope, if they can't get a handle on the ball, it's the passer's TO

i can't decide who i like more, bonzi or snyder. just a gut type feeling i have is that i think snyder is the better guy as of now. he seems much more aggressive and really wants to win ball games.

coz Bonzi plays the post, you want to put in some outside sharp shooters who can space the floor.
Snyder's 3pt shooting isn't that good, he is more or a slasher.
If he and Bonzi play at the same time, it might get crowded under there.

From watching Bonzi, most of his turnovers come after he gets the ball and aren't the fault of the passer. So far, it gets blamed on him being rusty and not yet in shape. I wonder how much longer people here will accept that explanation. I know about his setbacks as much as anyone, but he should be farther along than he is IMO. Hopefully he will put it together and key a strong run to the playoffs.
