Who sucks more at defense Kevin Martin or James Harden?

The difference between the two is, Kevin Martin didn't have the ability to play defense.

There have been numerous times where James has played great defense on a drive and then just let him go at the end.

That's the most disappointing thing about Harden.

KM. He is not known to have played any defense. However, JH gets more criticism because he CAN play D just chooses not to - or currently cannot because of his milkbag body

I thought it was strange when the Portland starters were taken out of the game with that much time on the clock. I mean, it is the playoffs.

You're probably right. I just noticed a lot of different names last night but it was probably because of garbage time minutes.

I just looked in on a blazers message board to read their thoughts on the game. Many of the posters were making absurd posts saying how they got screwed by the refs. Ummm, what game were they watching? There was some awful officiating in the game but it wasn't in the Rockets favor. I think any outsider fan would say the same.

We got calls in our favor, they got calls in their favor. It balances out.

not always...i'd be hard pressed to make the case that so far the Blazers haven't been the beneficiary of the most important calls made by refs in these games.

This game actually felt like it had a home court advantage to it. Maybe that was just because we held a lead most of the game? But, I was impressed by the crowd noise and it felt a little more electric than usual. It probably being do or die meant fans were more into it.

There were two non-calls toward the end of the game when Howard was defending Aldridge that both Aldridge and the Blazers coach were all uppity about that Howard fouled on....but that was total bull. Howard defended each of those plays clean. I was honestly waiting on a foul call. I think Aldridge knew they were clean and was "acting" like he was fouled. The announcers even said they were good non-calls.

I bet the Blazers fans were up in arms on each of those plays, though.

I actually feel pretty good about the fact that we're going into game 6 and James has yet to have a monster game. Hopefully that means tomorrow is the time when he goes off for 40 and 10.
