Rockets will have to play much better on offense to win tomorrow. I expect the Blazers to be much more physical and come out blazing. Rockets need to do a better job of looking to Yao so he can create and I expect Artest to take a lot more shots than yesterday. It's going to be close and though we choked in the 2nd half, we were clutch at the end so I expect us to pick it up and pull it out in the 4th.

    Win 102-97

Very scared of this game. I thought we had control of the series after game two because i thought that the Blazers had given us their best and still only barely won at home. But last night gave me pause. The Blazers are here to play. It might be a struggle from beginning to end. Oh, and would someone please guard Rudy Fernandez outside the three point line?

If the Rockets put it all together again they will win big. Play that solid Rockets D and they probably win anyways. The Blazers have to be kicking themselves. Brooks, Artest, and Yao combine for 27 points and they still lose?

Man, if we can get this game somehow, it would be awesome. I think we are going to take it, I had a good feeling we would take game 3 and I feel the same way about this game.. Just need to get Yao involved more.. Go ROCKETS!! :D

Rockets will win game 4, but i think the blazers will win game 5. Making a must win situation for the rockets in game 6. rockets in 6.

Hopefully all the offensive production from everyone besides yao and artest will open things up for them in the upcoming games. Scolandry, brooks, and wafer better keep knocking down more shots.

Yao will have a better game compare to his last two but it will also be sub-par from his season average as he will be front with a weaker back side this game. Scolandry's elbow jumpers will not be as open compare to last game because their defender will not stay as close to yao as they did in the previous match-up to defend their jumpers. In exchange, we will get more spacing in the middle since Scolandry will draw their man out. Look for our lighting guards (AB & Von) to exploit that weak paint and some put back from Yao.

    Key to win this game
1.) Jump on them early like they did on game 3.
-The rockets came out the game like some raging bulls on the defensive end. Everyone was fighting through screen instead of going under. I hope they can sustain that through game 4.
2.) A better game from Yao.
-I honestly don't think Nate Mc will sandwich Yao as hard as he did in the last 2 games because he probably realized Scolandry is killing them at the 4. Yao will still be front but he will get some offensive rebounds and put back in this game. Also he will receive more touches because of the loosen weakside.
    3.) Our guards play
-Nate Mc will make some adjustment to contest the wide open elbow jumpers from Scolandry for certain. Either with some perimeter rotation or loosen the weak side help at Yao. Our 1,2,3 will still be beneficial from both of these move. By rotating the perimeter we will have our guards shooting wide open elbow 3's. If they choose to guard Scolandry jumper, their paint will be wide open since Yao will pin down his man and their 4 will be too late to recover to guard the paint. Definitely look for a lot of slashing from Von and Lowry.
4.) Scola needs to stay out of foul trouble
-He's the new Robin alongside Yao. He makes the defense pay when they double team Yao. Landry is getting there but Scola has couple more moves where Landry still has yet to develope. We will need our 4 to make the blazers play honest defense in game 4.
5.) Smarter plays from our youth
-Von & AB will get some extra film sections after the rest of the team's done with it. Von did some great things that we all witness when the Hawk jammed through the bucket twice. He also drove into two 7 footers and turned the ball over in crucial time where Blake hit a 3 after. AB needs to stop over dribbling and utilize his speed by cutting to the baskets without the ball. He got so many points with that cut during the regular season and it has disappeared throughout the whole series so far. Again, more MOVEMENT and LESS useless dribbling.

GO ROCKETS! I WILL BE CHEERING IN FRONT OF MY HDTV WEARING MY NO.11 HOME JERSEY! (in New Jersey >< gawd i wish i live in Houston) AND NO I HAVEN'T SHAVE SINCE THE DALLAS GAME! GET REDD!! GOO ROX!

As you all know, Portland has been fronting Yao for the past two games, which has dramatically shut down his offense. Why doesn't Adlemen they have the PF set a screen down low at post for Yao, Yao roll to the opposite side. All they have to do then is just pass the ball round to the other side. If they did that we'd open Yao up since the Center fronting Yao will have to come from behind to guard him. Yao will either get to line or score; it'll put Oden and Pryzbilla in foul trouble, or it'll open up a 3pt shot if everyone collapses on Yao.

I think Yao will have a great game. He's starting to get frustrated, and a few games of being shut out will force him to become more involved in the offense.

I don't think it will be a blowout, but I think Yao will be the difference maker in this one. Finally again.
