JVG is smart. He always looked at the game from a higher level down.

Howard 34 pts already, didn't he have 32 1st game? Just sick. Yao can't sniff 30 plus pts with his r****ded foul/fronting nonsense.

Really Van Gundy, you really think Yao is the better option on the O? What a Homer . . .

Solid first half. They need to go ahead and step on their necks at the start of the third quarter.

That's a good way to kickstart the offense...Portland's offense.

the difference b/t this game and last game? DEFENSE.

yao remains a small factor offensively, but others are thriving (we actually play better without him offensively tonight in that 2nd quarter).

    adelman is a great coach.

Defense. Wafer is nice, but Rudy lit him up.

No, Artest is doing something we dreamed he would do for a while. Play within the offense. He's making the extra pass to swing the ball rather than holding and dribbling. Wafer doesn't do that. I love Wafer, but when he get's it, he's looking to score, and Ron realizes that they are basically doubling Yao away from the ball, so he is looking for Scola/Landry.

Great half by Ron, may not show up in the stat books, but he's a big reason were up.

come on man...it was the end of a close game with a spectacular finish. no reason to get all fussy about it.
