I hope so. They fear him on the blazers forum.

We win by 5+ pts if we play OK, because Blazers sucks on road.
We win by 10+ pts if we control the boards, because Blazers is very good at offense reb.
We win by 20+ pts if .....

I will be attending tonight's game in Houston vs. Portland, and I think we match up very well versus them. Brooks can definately handle steve Blake. Battier will cover Brandon Roy like white on rice. Artest will guard Nicolas Batum?!?!?!? or Travis Outlaw?!?!?! That's a matchup from Hell for those guys! Yao will own Oden and Pryzbilla! But the PF spot is tricky. If Aldridge dominates Scola then we will have problems because we have no (legit) backup besides chuck hayes or brian cook. I WANT LANDRY BACK! I think we got a good chance at this one. In addition, We are GREAT at Toyota Center and the Blazers Sucks on the Road.

    declared not to play.

it's no good news. their other C: Przybilla is hell of a dirty-work-type C. though non-factor in offense, he proved good at defending Yao. I'd rather have Oden to take the lesson.

the best backup C for Yao I can conceive is exactly Przybilla, function-wise or money-wise. Hope Morey get to it.

    Carl Landry Update from NBA.com

Update : Landry (sprained right ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers

Analysis : Landry's been productive when he gets the playing time, but so long as Luis Scola's healthy, Landry's upside is limited.

My own opinion : Upside is limited?!?!?!?! His upside is limitLESS!!!! unreal!!! Who's with me?? Carl fans unite on this one! NBA.com has it all wrong, they don't watch Rockets b-ball like we do! Carl will be the man for many years to come, along with Scola!

I think his upside is definitely limited. I don't know what the deal is, but he hardly ever puts the ball on the floor. Maybe its because he sees no need to. I mean, I'm fine with this, but I don't see him being able to make his own shots...But he's pretty damn good at hitting the ones other people set up for him.

Though I guess grabbing offensive boards could be seen as one more way of creating your own shot.

Also, we're going to win this one, too. Yao will have a decent game, but Artest will go off again. Brooks will have a solid game.

    Rockets 98
    Blazers 92

yeah, that's what i've thought for quite some time. he was drafted by the rockets anyway.

but oden not playing can't be a bad news. that's 6 fewer fouls they can dish, to say the least.

imo, a current david west or the ballpark is where the ceiling is landry; and that's under ideal circumstances. he's not gonna be an amare or chris bosh type of player, much less a "limitless" ceiling.

Why is he still questionable? I thought the ankle injury wasn't that serious?

That's what I was thiiking too, but then I thought about Shane and Ron's ankles. Maybe they just want him to get back to 100% before he gets back on the court. They don't want him to be bothered by it come playoff time and not produce... I think it's smart on the Rockets part to learn from their mistakes beacuse this season, they haven't handled the injuries well.

Let Landry heal. Didn't we learn anything with Artest's ankle injury?

Thought I'd give everyone a heads up. On ESPN, if you click on the "conversation" section under the scorboard for tonights game against Portland, there are several Blazer fans ripping us apart. Right now there are only a handful of Rockets fans, so I was hoping some of us could take a moment and return the favor.
