Portland is an exciting young team, but they are in our way. The Rockets must jump on them and then climb over them. The Roll continues.

This will be the first real test for Brooks. See if he can lead the team to a victory over a phenomenol team. Portland is a great team at home, but they aren't that intimidating on the road. I think we must win this one so we can increase our chance of landing the 4th seed. Without Oden in the middle i think Yao will dominate. Hopefully, artest's 3s will keep on falling for him. Rockets win a thriller: 106-105.

we got this one. not a problem. a lot of defense, a lot of yao and artest should do the trick. :D

    Game plan is simply:

"48 Minutes Intensity and play smart at both ends of the court."

    then the winning streak continues.

The trick is to play SMART defense. Anticipate their move and disrupt their shooting ala Boston vs Phoenix.

    Key to the game:

Stop Lamarcus Aldridge... He killed the Rockets in the first three quarters of the last game. Chuck Hayes did a phenomenal job of defending him in the last couple of quarters. He has a solid jumper and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of the two-man game, with Roy and Aldridge, that Dallas threw at us (with Barea and Bass).. He's been really good the last two games too, so it will be important to get him out of rhythm early.

God that game stung, yao was stupid too. Instead of flashing at Roy, he actually started to run for the board until he realized that he is a bone-head. I like Yao but he seems to have a really low BBall Iq on the defensive end. I know he is slow but some of the things he does can be avoided with a fast mind.

It's going to be so funny...we're going to get 4th and the Jazz are going to finish 5th...lol...I think no matter where we are seeded we are destined to play the Jazz in the playoffs.

Battier and Artest are going to need to bully Roy around. Send fresh power forwards at Aldridge constantly. If Alddridge looks like he is headed for a big night, sacrifice a little offense and sick Heyes on him. Heyes can stop Aldridge. If ALdridge has an off game give then your dayly dose of Scolandry. Brooks and Lowry i hope do good, that spot is unpredictable for me. Yao needs to be pumped up and not let inferior players out hustle him, bc thats what usually happens with centers like Pridsbila or w/e his name is. Post Artest and how. Yao needs to be more aware of double teams, i dont think he is used to them coming so quick, he needs to read them better.

This is an insight from a Blazers fan from another forum about our team and how they can beat us:

How ridiculous of an observation is that?

XD, this dude is in for a rude awakening...I hope they dare Aaron to shoot, I hope their coaching staff is saying "This guy isn't a threat to shoot, go under..." I really hope so, Aaron will then end the night with 20 points and 8+ assist in a W.

Also lol at the bench being bad. Also how they think they can just run on us, when Yao goes out and Landry and Scola are on the court, we INSTANTLY become a running team. Also Yao does a good job of getting the rebound and passing it up.

I'm really confident in this game, I feel like we'll pull away in the 3rd and show them we are the more experienced and better team.

Honestly, he's right about one thing... they should go to Aldridge quite a bit. Lamarcus is the guy on their team that can be the difference maker. Brandon Roy is going to get his points like he does every night. If Aldridge gets going early, it's going to be a tough victory for the Rockets.

Other than that, it's almost like the guy has no idea who the Rockets are...

You want to make Aaron Brooks shoot? You want to go under every screen? He says he watched the Rockets recently, but apparently he didn't watch them against Dallas. If they want to give AB an open shot... then by all means do it... we'll take the victory.

He is kind of right about Artest... but Ron has been better the past few games.

LOL at his assessment of our bench. Seriously?

That is a 10-man rotation... and one of our "former" third stringers is averaging 20 minutes a game too... his name is Von Wafer.

    This guy is a joke.
