You are absolutley right. One of the most important attributes of a good PG is consistency. Rafer has to be the most inconsistent starting PG in the league. The Rockets need to find a way to address this problem next season or we will continue to be a second-tier team.

Does T-Mac still have the flu? He looks sluggish out there.

After watching this first half its amazing that we are ahead. To me this only proves that we need to make a trade. Who do we have that can consistently knocks down the outside jumper ? No one ! Rafer is on and off and so is Shane and T-mac. I'm not quit sure what is wrong with T-Mac but he looks dis-interested in this game but we know he can turn it on at any second. I just wish he was more like the other superstars where he was on every night ala Kobe and Lebron.....Yao is very consistent and thats why he is a superstar....We need Mike Miller like it or not ;)

It's strange! Yao got picked pocket by Brandon Roy 2 times and threw the ball away 1 time and he only gets 2 TOs in box score.

Let's hope the Rockets learnt the lesson from a very disappointing 1H. They need to listen to what Yao Ming preached, shift up their gears, play a devastating 3Q, build an insurmountable lead to avoid late 4Q collapse/power-failure against these Trailblazers. :D

That last play was total stupidy. First by Adelman, for leaving Rafer as your spot up shooter, then by TMac for wasting the entire clock then passing to Rafer with 2 seconds left. Sh** like that is totally unacceptable

lol this happened a few games earlier where he had 3 turnovers in the bucks game and they gave him only 1. i guess they interpreted as a pass, but went in the wrong direction. can't complain.

    that's because it's passer's fault, not Yao's.

Rafer intended to use the board for a 3, but, the depth perception in TC is way too poor, he hit the edge of the board, or the top of the board, instead. It should be a 3, just 1 inch apart. :(

One of those was counted as a missed shot blocked by Blazers. It was in the action of shooting, right into the 3rd Blazers player.

Just got out of class and checked the box score.
From my perspective, Ralston has had a FAR better game than T-Mac; it seems like McGrady is the one you should be complaining about.

Still, as I said on one of the Ralston bandwagon threads (and have said many, many other times), Ralson is a streaky shooter. YES, he shoots a decent percentage over his career, but he is a streaky shooter. Adelman has done a good job adjusting his expectations of Ralston and hasn't depended on him as much for offense.

Still, I'll take 1-4/0-2 over 1-6/0-3 any day. Look for T-Mac to either drive hard to the basket in the second half or complain of some new injury after the game.
What... I'm not jaded at ALL.

Oh yes! Depth perception! Blame the depth perception! Great idea!

I think one counted as missed FG, as Yao was turning around and going
for the shot, and got stripped.

yeah we been riding yao but those 3 plays in a row sort of seemed to stun the team for 10 minutes and they had to dig themselves out of that hole

actually team played well to start the game, and played well at the end of the half to recover so everything looks good atm

eh. defense isn't there tonight. offense a bit sluggish.
we aint hitting shots. that's basically it. at the beginning we had our offence rolling but they were just making tough shots. havent seen the intensity that got us our winning streak. if we get that killer instinct for the rest of the 24 min, i can bet we'll win. if not ... it's a toss up ... i dont want this to be a close game though ...
