every starter on the blazer's team got arrested while partying and doping the night before the game. We win by beating their bench squad by 97 to 64.

Blazers don't play well on the road. I sense a blow-out by the Rockets. 102-75 Rockets.

Winning sure does change everyone's attitude. Jazers too athletic for us. Also better shooters. Rox blow early lead and lose big. Yao gets a lot of open looks and misses them all. Mobley scores well. Steve still can't find his shot.

    Too much pessimism here.

We destroyed them in the 1st qtr at Portland, they had nothing to defend Yao in that first qtr. We lost because they made some defensive adjustment after that qtr, but the Rockets couldn't counter it.

The Blazers are a streaking shooting team, this is especially true on the road. The key is to keep Randolph of the block, which is a tall order for JJ/Cato/Talor. If we can do that, the Rockets will be fine.

The other thing is Yao & Cato have to set the tone at the defensive end by knocking down whoever dares to come into the lane. Once Mighty Mice taste a couple hard hits, he'll stay outside, launch all the ill-advised long bombs.

Portland is a good team at home with a 10-2 record, but they have been terrible on the road. As a matter of fact, they haven't even won ONE single game yet in SIX tries. This one is in the bag.

    Rockets: 92
    Blazers: 78

    Oh yeah!
    Another quality win here!

    Rockets win 92 - 81

Almost the first team this year to stop Zach Randolph by holding him to single digits! Go Cato, Yao and Taylor. It won't be easy, but they will make it.

Francis is mad after the loss up in Potland, and will blow up with 28 points and 9 assists.

    Go Rockets! :)

Good call Sam. The Trailblazers might be the worst road team in the league. If we don't win I'll be suprised.

Rox give Blazers their first road win. Randolph will do ok, but not great, Wallace will have a real real nice night while Stoudemire schools Francis. McInnis gets shut down by Mobley. On the other side, Randolph and Wallace shut down Ming, Francis flounders, but Jackson and Mobley have good nights and almost keep them in it. Oh, and Taylor sucks it up on both sides of the court.

The Results vary, depending on JVG's strategy.

    1) I am very concerned about Moo on the court. Many times, he is a blackhole, without defense and with too many stupid turnovers.

    2) ROX need to practice free-throw shots.

    3) YAO would be double-teamed. CATO and JJ should contribute 20+ pts.

    4) ROX should reduce stupid fouls.

Streak? More like a smudge. We need 3 games to make a streak. 2 game winning smudge, going for a small streak. :D

    Rox win

if we play like we did against Detroit, with Yao rebounding, Steve finding the open man, and cato and MoT cleaning up inside, we can win this one easily.
