something happened in that chat room last night for the first time.. it is called POSITIVITY. I have never seen more chants for defense, guys rooting for the Rockets even when they were down.

usually, the naysayers bring everyone down, but last night, the positivity won the game for the Rockets.

I could feel it at the beginning of the game and I could feel it when we were down by 4. it didnt matter, we were behind the Rockets. and anyone who predicted, guaranteed a loss was wrong, good riddance to ya.

Most of the 3's that Portland made in the 4th quarter didn't seem like easy shots.

I believe there might have been some luck involved.

What kills me is why it took so long to dish Yao the ball. It looked liked he was attempting to draw the double team outside and open the lane, but with around 5 minutes to go, they weren't biting as much.

Although, when our guards finally realized how open Yao was, he made some clutch shots.

I was glad to see Mobley catch his snap, and that last 3 that SF put up was huge.

They had a game last year just like this where they beat the trailblazers by three points.

That's true. THe blaz had a hand in their face the majority of the time they took a shot, but they were just plain old HOT in the 4th.

Yao showed that he was the better go to guy by stoppin Zach and hittin shots, but he still needs work on mental toughness.

Huh? I thought Zach scored at will on Yao ... The stats also indicate that Zach scored enough for the game being close ...

Zach is their PF not centre. Mind you, there were a number of time, our PF lost Zach and Yao had to cover. That was why you saw Yao facing Zach occasionally. As a matter of fact, the last two shots Zach attempted at the end: one was an offensive foul (charge) on Yao and the other missed, being intimidated by Yao.

That was how we turned around the game, two baskets by Yao at the front and two big stops at the back. Of course, we need to mention the final basket made by Francis and his stop on Stoudamire at the end.

    So, your perception was incorrect.

    :)
