Man Portland fans are so whiny and sour. They just go on and on about the shot, hope it's their only memorable moment of the decade.

Yeah. Goran Dragic, for one, would do wonders.

    Fixed.

When rockets fans talk about big shots, they are usually followed by and yeah we won the next 2 series after going down 3-1 as well then dream showed ewing who the real mvp was or we swept shaq to win a championship. Only 13 in 35 isnt and that was a moment where a player single handidly took over a game and hit 4 threes in a row against the leagues best defense, not 1 shot that led them to a sweep

Portland fans have jack outside of that shot.

Watching Bev <strike>run</strike> ruin the offense when Harden sits is painful. The sequence tends to be as follows: Dwight/D-Mo get good post up position. Bev at this point either 1) waits too long to pass it in or 2) completely ignores them.

Then Dwight or D-Mo will come set a screen. This will either result in an ill advised shot or a pass out to Ariza.

Who will do one of the following. 1) Take a quick 3 pointer. 2) he'll drive in and go for a contested as hell lay-up.

The offense dies when Harden sits. We stop going inside out and this compounds our problems since none of our perimeter players can make a play for anyone.

What I really hope (unless we get Dragic eventually) is we get Josh Smith and he starts at PF and he becomes our weak side shot blocker. Then we move DMo to the bench and pair Shved with Dmo, and Shved is an excellent entry passer given his size and talents in that area.

A bench unit of Shved/Terry/Brewer/DMo/Kostas/Black is definitely capable of some mediocre offensive production, which may sound bad, but is a LOT better than the atrocious offensive and defensive production we're getting from them now. Shved is also pretty psycho at jacking up shots and attacking the rim and that's what we need. The Rockets are #1 in scoring from starters so it's expected, but Morey is doing some great things in terms of rectifying that problem.

I really like Canaan/Kostas but if we get Josh Smith (or not) I wouldn't be surprised to see these one or both of these two moved to PHX for Dragic to give Harden, Beverley, and Ariza some minutes reduction.

"A 3 point play the Harden way" - What a beast. MVP all the way!
Couldn't stop smiling shortly after Brewer came on. Some really exciting plays. Brewer brought some extra enthusiasm and athleticism. Love it!
This team could be really special!

    So what

How many games have our starting bigs missed let along 60% of the starting lineup?

Not trying to argue but I get tired of people bringing up that excuse.

Dallas lost to Atlanta at home and we won. I can't complain. Another great x-mas present! All is right in the North Pole.

Dallas beause we were short-handed and the way Harden sealed the game with a euro step and one on Parsons. And the fact that we came back to win it.

I was at this game. It was quite nice to see Harden pull down their little panties take out the red ball and strap and pull a ZED on them. The only thing he didn't do is say "GET THE GIMP"

I digress. The moment Harden sits, it should be 100% toss the ball low to DMo or Howard. Every, single, play.

You don't need multiple perimeter playmakers, that's a luxury most teams in the past 20 years didn't have. Our players just stop bloody going to the post when he sits.

yea yea and Jordan wasn't around when we won our two. I actually got to go to this game, which is rare for me. I kept an eye on Harden quite a bit, during timeouts etc. This man was on a mission. He had a chip the size of a man hole cover on his shoulder. Clearly remembering last years end and the criticism that followed. If he can keep this laser focus and intensity up and we can stay away from the injury bug, this could be a special season.
