Sloppy!! McGrady forcing his game, Yao just couldn't care a damn type of attitude. Didn't look like the heart of a champion! :p

I agree. I'm interested to see how the frontcourt rotation's going to hold up. We've gone with a smaller frontcourt when Yao rests, such as Hayes/Scola or Battier/ Scola. It has worked ok in the first three games, but how will it do against bigger and better bigs?

That said, Scola has been very impressive so far. Now if he could just get his mid-range shots to fall, he'd be near perfect.

I HONSETLY don't want T-mac's FG% back to last season :( ......he got too many 7/22 games. Today he was hot at the beginning and cold later... hope he can be like at least the 1st game against the Lakers...

Geeze Pryuen, you are slow this time. I can't believe it took more than 10 mins for the pics to come. Try harder next time!

Another thing I noticed is that the team is still not fully in sync with the offensive system propounded by Adelman. I saw one Yao pass into the inside to Bonzi who was cutting towards the basket that he (Bonzi) missed. Another pass by Yao to a cutter (I think it was Tracy) led to a turnover because the cutter wasn't expecting a pass at that position. Still need at least 10 more games for the full offense to gel properly.

A really pathetic performance for the home opener. Once the Rockets got up on the Blazers in the first, they decided to take the rest of the night off. Not the mark of champions. TMac and Yao have zero, nada, no killer instinct. Not putting teams away is a habit that will bite them many times this season. Aldeman can't be happy with this game.

Yeah, I know, what's the beef, they won?. You have to put teams away, this is habit left over from several seasons, and it is very, very bad habit. I almost started cheering for Portland at the end. I love HEART, grit, intensity, fire, the knockout. Heart of a champion. Clyde's post game commentary was totally bogus, "Rockets did what they had to do.....played a great game." Baloney!

Yea, but it was Mcgrady's clutch, timely three that put them away, followed by a drive to the basket resulting in two foul shots made by him also. So he made up for it in a span of a minute

Why is no one complaining Adelman is over-playing tmac and Yao? 39 mins each  ?? JVG only plays them 35 min ;) How do you expect them to stay fresh for the playoffs

I have to say that Tmac was getting over his head after the hot first q start; Yao was passive mostly in the second half. Tonight I like Scola and Hayes more, yes, I am crazy.

    jvg's 30 mins = 45 mins for other players

tmac is not doing any playmaking outside of the 4th. yao is not banging a lot though this game was a lil physical for him. so they're fresh.

I have no problem with the team coasting. They knew they were gonna get the win so why waste more energy and effort for the same end result?

I believe the team can play hard all 4 quarter when they really need to, especially with the amount of talent we have. Steve isn't even playing yet so we can only get better.
