Gee... I was concerned seeing HOU up only a few after shooting so well... then wondered what the Blazersmust think, shooting 57% and being behind...

We had better. Because if our D remains sub-par, we'll be getting an L if we don't.

The rockets need to defend harder in the 2nd half.

We kinda played out of our minds. But, we are still up by only 5. Should we be concerned going into the 3rd?

I think it's a perfect time to put Shane on Roy, and I am not saying Ariza necessarily plays bad defense on him. Just to keep Ariza from foul trouble going into the fourth quarter. By the way, I am a true beliver of the thesis that when an offensive player goes off there's little you can do about it. The same could be said to Aldridge tonight. I would hate to any double team scheme as Portland is a dangerous three - shooting team

The thing is they are shooting wild shots, well contested. I tought our defense was pretty ok but they were just red hot (Lamarcus, Brandon).

On the other hand we take whet the defense is giving up and we look good as an unit.

Chuckwagon is doing a good job keeping Aldridge out from posting up, but he can't defend that jumper.

    Yes, I think so.

I've said it before, but whenever Brooks is out of the game our offense goes to crap. He needs to play most of the second half, I think. Like last time.

Charles Barkely talked about this the other night in the Denver game. Portland does not score from there center posistion in the paint. They are a jump shooting team and will have problems continuing any offensive consitency if they keep shooting there fate-away jump shots along with BROY's 3 point barrage. We should be ok....hoping that Portland starts missing.

Trevor played out of his mind. Scola was still 3 of 8 and chase and Lowry were both 1 of 4, shane 0 of 2. By no means is this one of those "we're shooting 70%" types of game. We have room to improve in the next half, so i'm not that concerned its only a 3 point lead, especially since Portland actually shot better than us percentage wise...

The Rockets would be so beastly if we had even just one healthy superstar. I love this team.

Wow, only an 11 page thread so far? I guess everyone is partying or watching the Texas/Oklahoma St. game.

Love Ariza's efficiency. Portland is in trouble if Roy isn't hitting his threes.

Hayes with the same play drawing a charge on Roy as last year's playoffs
