blazers played like an nbdl team after half time, but they are a young team and it does seem like if u double randolph they find it hard offensively. But tmac pretty much sealed it in the 3rd with his brilliant play

    Last 3 minutes analysis.

The bench played like it was their last game of the preseason. Too much wasted energy.

VSpan did a great play that open up the defense when he drove to the basket passing the ball to the Head for an open penetration.

JL3 doesn't know how to pass, a potential ball hog.

bonzi is an EXCELLENT passer. i just hope when he is in, they go to him more often as atleast number 2... they use him on the perimeter to pass to juwan inside... i think he is best receiving the ball on the weak side and slashing in. ;)

    go rockets!

he did an amazing job setting the tone. the rockets were sluggish and inept on the offensive end of the floor, so he simply took over, abusing his defenders with his pump fakes, then rising over them and hitting his jumper. they simply could not stop him. udoka must be in the locker room crying right now...the game changed when t-mac decided it was time to blow the blazers out of the building.

we're up by 30 points, and all i saw in the game thread was nearly 2 pages of straight b!tching and moaning about how the freaking scrubs aren't playing....

    awesome.

oh yeah... please, please never let lucas on the court ever again. the guy is absolutely worthless. vspan has to replace lucas as our backup garbage time PG... i dont care how many TO's he gets, or how poorly he shoots. lucas is a damn blackhole.

Everyone should stop b****ing JVG from now on.

Have to give him credits for making the Rox play so well.

The way Rox playing right now should be good enough to guarantee him at least another two year contract.

BTW, Phil Jackson still is the No.1 ;)

I disagree with those who were saying that we should have taken the starters out.

Except for Tmac coming off screens we had no offensive execution whatsover.

    We played terribly offensively.
We need our guys to learn to play together and create some offensive chemistry. We don't have any guys who can create their own shots, so we have to be able to run some offensive plays that we can count on for the next 5 weeks without Yao. It's much easier to throw the ball to Yao and spot up or cut.

Who would you rather see improvement from?

Head and Hayes who will be directly responsible for the outcome of games or Spanoulis and Novak who will not have much to do with wins and losses?

Besides, Novak can't improve much if he gets playing time. About the only thing he can do is spot up. He can spot up whether he plays 2 minutes or 20 minutes.

Taking care of business. It is nice to have a blowout win to start the homestand. I dont even think Mac played in the fourth quarter.

btw, bonzi is smooth in the low post.

    SHHH!!!!!!!

Don't get this board started. :D

Man I was pulling for Spanoulis to burn a defender or penetrate and throw it down but instead he got blocked. :(

I want Spanoulis to play!!! I know he has things to work on but damn it's nice to see a guy who'll take it to the basket relentlessly. I'm sure if he works on his vision he'll be a great PG. He had a great pass to Head tonight in the garbage time.

    What are you talking about?

Personally speaking, I think we can use more Rafer appreciation threads...

I think Spanoulis would play better if he got rid of the uni-brow.
