[Clutchfans] Draft Day Trade Could Be Rush Order

    I still want Rush. I have felt he could contribute and be the third swingman for us in year 1. All that stuff about not being able to put the ball on the floor is garbage. I really don't see Portland taking him that high. He's redundant for them. Of course, if they want to trade us Martell and Outlaw for Battier and our pick, I'd take that deal too.

    One thing Pritchard has reiterated is he'll take the best available talent everytime regardless of where in the draft he is choosing. Handing over a 4 year guaranteed lottery level deal I'd believe him.

    Yeah, you're probably right. However, that just makes somebody else on their roster at the same position less valuable. It works both ways and we should not make a desparation move.

    I'd rather see Morey go after the Nets pick and Vince Carter/Richard Jefferson. I'd offer up Battier, expirings, our #25 and two future picks to get that deal done. We get Jefferson to add to 111 then draft Rush or best available player.
