    if we play up to everyone potential, then we have the best back court

    Harden

    27 points, 6 rebs, 6.5 assists AND PLAY DEFENSE and TEAM BALL

    Lin

    23 points, 4 rebs, 9 assists, 2 steals, .5 blocks and run the offense

    Funny that the article forgot to mention that Lin was INJURED and playing hurt during those playoffs.

    Very good point. The context a player is in is crucial. Basketball is the ultimate team sport.

    It's not about shutting them down but making them work. He constantly applies pressure when he is on the court. Bev is a high energy, tough guy coming off the bench. That's it.

    We should have the top back court tandem in the league. The Warriors will give us a run for our money though.

    GSW is considered to have the best "shooting" backcourt.

    after limiting their duo in our first matchup of last year, Klay and Steph had their way with us...

    Yeah, some of these national writers, like for example on Bleacher Report, you wonder if these guys have ever watched any other Rockets games besides those few playoff games. I've read some of their articles are they just are not up to date with the latest Rockets news and insights; I find myself having to correct them all over the place.

    Those stats for Harden have only happened 19 different times by 6 different players.

    Those stats for Lin have NEVER been achieved by any player ever over an entire season.

    Lofty expectations that have no chance of happening.
