just picked up the Harry Potter Box Set Years 1-6 on Blu-ray for 40.33 its Amazon's gold box deal of the day tip: Buy the Boxset off of amazon.co.uk the list price shows 24.99 GBP but I was charged 21.27 GBP and 3.08 GBP for shipping the total came out to 24.35 GBP which comes out to 40.33 US after shipping. Now Amazon has it at 39.99 w/ free shipping so why spent the extra 34 cents and get the UK versions? (which are region free and will play in the US http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php?region=b) The UK versions of the film are longer than the US versions of the film. The total run time for the UK boxset is 30 mins longer (~5 mins per film average) than the US version. They have been releasing "extended" versions here in the US in ultimate editions which retail around 30 bucks for the DVD versions and so for they've only released Years 1-4 in ultimate editions. These extended versions are just the UK versions of the film.
