Freemaniam is rocking the sweet Rockets Cap that i presented to him that was created by the karma of clutchfans. Freemaniam, then took us to one of Hong Kong's best seafood restaurants. The food was really really fresh, I'm talking fresher than the lyrics Ice Cube penned out on Amerikkka's most wanted when he was sitting in Compton wondering what to write to the youth and not sell out. The little kids in Hong Kong love to play with their food. Freemaniam knows the glory of Hakeem and the old Clutch City and is up to date with his NBA knowledge of today's players and coaches. By default, Freemaniam is the KING OF CLUTCHFANS CHINA!!!!
saigon is the best place in HK to get seafood, did you get to eat dessert afterwards at a place nearby? In any case, I will be in HK in december, would love to meet up for a game with those there keep me in mind, thanks
Tinman, thank you very much for the gift! Glad you enjoyed the food. Good luck for your trip in Macao.
it's because there are people here who aren't really Rocket fans and hate 1. me 2. the Rockets 3. Maxwell 4. China 5. the USA 6. THEMSELVES ok, sorry about the negatives. the positive is that Freemaniam and HK/China Clutchfans should unite and hangout. Freemaniam has vast knowledge of the NBA and the Rockets. it would be cool if you guys come together more often and post us picks. Also, Clutchfans WORLDWIDE should notify Clutchfans Hong Kong when they are in town. Its always fun to represent. DaDakota, Freemaniam, Clutch, Kroysfah, Jeff, ME, We represent the GOOD of the WORLD!!!
How's your luck in Macau till now? And any difference of the Chinese foods in HK and Chinese food in US?
i depart for macau thurs. the chinese food is excellent here in Hong Kong as I expected it to be, slightly different. its obviously less 'americanized', but i tend to eat in the more traditional chinese restaurants in the states anyways. let me give some examples for the clutchfans who are less familiar. 1. no fortune cookies here. fruit is usually given at the end of the meals instead of the fortune cookies. we were given watermelon, and some other melon (looks like yellow watermelon). in the USA, we get orange slices in some places. 2. egg rolls/spring rolls. in the US, its served with hot mustard/sweet sour sauce. here, they gave me type of soy sauce, and it was great!!! (i ate at some place up at the peak, i know its touristy, but it was so good). you know what is really cool, besides the traditional chinese flair is the fusion here. i had STICKY RICE GELATO, it was so awesome! there are so many IRON CHEF LIKE places here in Hong Kong, very creative dishes.
I lost a small amount of $ in Macau, too bad I'll miss out on this: Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic and China Men’s National Team To Play in Shanghai and Macao SHANGHAI, March 29, 2007 – The NBA China Games will return to China in October with three games featuring the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Orlando Magic and the China Men’s National Team, it was announced today by the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), the Shanghai Administration of Sports (SAS) and the Macao China Basketball Association at a press conference in Shanghai.
I've learned that Clutchfans China is not all obsessed with Yao just because some people here make it seem so, they are very knowledgeable about the Rockets, the NBA and its history. They even have an NBA channel (similar to NBATV) and they show classic NBA Games all the time. They have old games with Dr J and even the Sam Cassell led Bucks (vs Hornets, incredible comeback by Sam showing that ClutchCity1/2 's heart is unmatched in NBA history). This means they show classic Rocket games like Sampson vs the Lakers or like Game 1 vs Orlando, so Kenny Haters are just kicking themselves in fury. Kenny is worldwide. hate that haters.
where are the pics?why i can't see them?It seems u had a good time in Hongkong.Next time u might visit ShenZhen,a modern city where i live. It's not far away from HongKong.
So what you are trying to say is that there is only small number of unknowledgeable YOFs in China and they all come to the cf.net. Nice.
when any of China Clutchfans comes to Texas, we should treat them to BBQ and southern food. Of course some Mexican food. I DID SEE some Mexican restaurants in Hong Kong, however, decided not to try it. In Macau, there was a FATBURGER in the Venetian, and yes the line was long! Ice Cube would be proud!
