With all of the complaints about the league this year, I am teetering on the edge of giving up the reins and letting someone else take over. Any takers?

I wouldn't mind running the league next year if we switch to yahoo.

I've had it up to here with fanstar.

OK, since he wasn't in your lineup, I don't get what you're b****ing about.

What I meant was I had no choice but to bench Amare given that he was only playing in 1 game this week, so by virtue of having my best player out I was forced to play 3 scrubs from **** teams and now I lost to the worst team in the league.

I am b****ing about the schedule ****ing me out of a win, when I basically have to win every week.

**** whoever made the NBA schedule this year.

Fanstar isn't the problem. We've done just fine for years.

My bad. I edited my post cuz I thought you weren't aware he only had one game.

Still, I don't understand the b****ing. The NBA schedule is a part of the game here. We do not set lineups daily. We can, if we decide to do that before the season starts.

Yeah, but I really don't see why we can't use yahoo when they are free and have a much better scoring system IMO.

Only setting a lineup once a week is maddening.

Stephen Jackson ended up only playing 1 and a half games when I needed 4.

    I'm just bitter ok?

I lost to the ****tiest team in the league and my playoff dreams are basically gone.

    Let me vent dammit.

Oh, I much prefer Fanstar's total raw fantasy points based H2H over Yahoo's "win a category for 1 point" H2H. Yahoo doesn't offer that type of scoring unless you pay for their premium service, I believe. Not sure how much that costs.

I know that for baseball there is an option of playing a split week schedule, with game periods running Monday-Thursday and Friday-Sunday. That makes a big difference, I think.

I don't know if they offer that option for basketball, although I don't see why they wouldn't.

The regular season is not even halfway done. I wouldn't start freaking out just yet. Although it is a bit of a drag that it's possible for the second best team in the league to potentially not make the playoffs under this format.

Absolutely we can do the split week format. The only reason I haven't changed it is because we've used the full week format for all but one year (that I recall).

I'm also open to switching up the playoff format to include wild cards (8 teams total), extending the playoff 2 more weeks. We'd have to revisit it next season since changing the schedule will wipeout the results from this season.

I would just like to go on record saying that I am totally fine with this.

I put him on IR after that week started so it wouldn't affect my lineup until the next week started.

I am down for whatever the consensus is for next season but I think changing formats mid season is bad form.

We are not even mid-season and an injury or 2 maybe a trade could really change some teams outcome.

BTW Flint blew up his entire team and now has a solid lineup so he will not be as easy to roll over now.

On a positive note I just wanted to tip my hat to Fade for doing a great job on drafting, picking up players off waivers and your trades.

I am getting my team ready for the 2nd half of the season so I can compete against all of you. Seems like scoring is up and anybody can beat anybody from week to week.

From now on, with the ever so kind words from the very bitter first loser to me, Please refer to my team (as he likes to) as the *****iest team in the league. Thanks.

You want me to sugarcoat it?

    You were 0-8.

You weren't "putting together a team for a good run"

You were dumping players left and right.

You and your buddies hocking off players to each other.

    Thats fine.

I lost a game I needed to desperately win to keep pace with fade's team which will probably lose maybe 1 game all year.

    Didn't happen.

    Sorry I hurt your feelings.

Just for the record I had just as many trades with Flint as I have with you.

You can have two players on IR?

As long as you do not have more than 13 players on your roster (with at least 1 being IR), I don't care.
