    Ziggy, please stop dropping players.

    For the record, players that have been dropped by managers that are not in the playoffs cannot be picked up for use by the teams in the playoffs.

    What a week to start the playoffs! Both games were tight all the way. I'm really regretting starting Dooling over Murray.

    The finals will be combined over the next 2 weeks with lineup changes at the end of the first week.

    Tough loss to take for sure. Really didn't deserve to go out like this after such a great season, but as William Munny might say, "Deserve's got nothing to do with it." The 3 game advantage for nwo going in was too much to overcome.

    At least pimp is out too. :p

    Well, it looks like Cat is going to win this out. Thanks to Thaddeus Young going out the wrong time and Anthony Randolph going off on my freaking bench. :mad:

    I know. It's a very frustrating hobby sometimes.

    It seems to be true that a good draft and a well-managed team will get you as far as the playoffs most of the time, but after that, anything can happen and it's completely based on luck. Sort of like poker.

    I wouldn't gloat too much, since there was a bit of a controversy last year with you even making the playoffs (the whole illegal lineup fiasco). :p

    I can understand that sentiment, from your point of view, although I think that injuries play a big part in regular season success as well, which is basically luck. In all 3 sports. And I acknowledge the luck of the playoffs, but there's something to be said for strategy, too, especially in baseball managing pitchers.

    Anyway, congrats to Cat, who seems to have locked it up. Good to see the Battier division represent!

    And thanks to the Pimp, again, for running the thing. Great job as always.
