I hope he's ok. He destroyed me this week. And I had a pretty damn good week and you were missing Brand. I thought the trade was a good trade, but you should know fade was making a run at Lee and AI2 as well.

 

My opinion is that we should decide to make this a rule or not and put into effect for the rest of the season and next year. Lets just chalk this up to "well that sucked!". We should also go back over the disagreements and hammer out details of policies/rules so disagreements and opinions on the rules will be kept to a minimum. These rules need to be documented, agreed on and posted.

I would like to add that I believe Pimp has done a good job of being commish and would definitely play in your league again if you decide to run it.

Its kind of ironic......the guy who who said I was whining/crying when I was upset and being a baby if I quit............is now whining/crying and quitting himself.....

In all seriousness, you have done a good job, Fade, myself and others who have run leagues realize at times some tough situations arise (you can't have rules and predict every scenario) and you become very unpopular with some in making decisions - it helps in some situations to put it to a vote (takes the heat off some). But after these incidents, everyone cools down and moves on and were all good friends - no grudges here, this is suppose to be fun, although competitive. To run a league you have to have thick skin.............but hopefully, whether you run it again or not, you continue to play.....because this is still fun........

I hope you do at least come back and play and hopefully you will stay on as commish, because at the end of the day it's only you and Fade, somewhat , that give me a little competition. Heck, the rest of the league I think uses 2001 Fantasy Cheatsheets and/or makes trades for guys who our out for the year (no names mentioned here Moe).

To be fair, you've put together quite a nice win streak recently. In any other division, you'd be in contention.

 

Can I umm... trade a player like Yao for someones draft pick next year? Cuz umm... Sigh

 

Why bring me into this? I haven't even been around since they blocked the internet at work. Damn you man!

BTW- That would have been a decent trade if I would HAVE KEPT SESSIONS!

Sorry I haven't messed with my team, but with work blocking internet, my personal life and trying to keep a job, this is the last thing on my mind at the moment. Sorry guys. I won't hog up a spot next year and will let somebody who's willing to handle their team better in next year.

 

For real. In retrospect, I think I was the one who got ripped off. I'd much rather have Sessions/Brewer now than Howard.

The other trade didn't really work out thus far either. Heck, Villanueva alone has been outperforming Amare. Once the big guy gets traded it may be a different story, mind you.

What about baseball? Don't tell me you aren't coming back for that either? It's hard enough to keep spots filled in that damn league as it is. Just witness the cricket-chirping response when I asked if anyone was interested in this thread.

 

Baseball is the one fantasy league I have a passion for. I'll be there till death.

 

Wow.. Amare is done for the year. So much for my unbeatable dream season. Down the toilet. Should still make the playoffs but I'm certainly not the clear favorite anymore.

You know what? I really love making trades, but looking back, every single trade I made has ended up screwing me in the long run.

I think from now on I should be one of those annoying stingy owners who cling to their players like gold and refuse to deal anyone.

 

I will trade pretty much anyone on my team except David Lee, but he's all anybody ever wants.
