No clue. I know I made the change for week 2. Anyway, it is fixed now.

Any chance of getting Nate Robinson swapped in for Marbury? I know it's Tuesday, but neither one of them has played yet and Marbury's decision to spazz out and quit the team will pretty much destroy my chances for the week if he's left in the lineup. Pretty pretty please.

Sorry, but that can't be fair. We wouldn't allow it for an injury.

Why not? You get up until gametime in football to swap out players, and I generally allow people to do it in baseball provided that the games for the players involved haven't started yet.

I don't think that should be allowed either.

    But that's just me.

We've never done lineup changes mid-week before (in this league) and we're not gonna start doing it mid-season. Maybe next year we can go to a daily lineup format, but that will take alot of personal team maintenance by all managers.

C'mon, you don't have to whine about it. In my opinion, it would be much more of a win* if you had been allowed to change your lineup midweek.

We all deal with injuries and flakes, it's part of the game.

So once the first game for the week tips off on Monday, even if there are only one or two games scheduled for that day, lineups are absolutely set in stone, even when it comes to players whose games don't even start until a day or two later.

I will remember this rule for baseball.

Dude, why you making a big deal about this? You're team is doing good so far at 2-0 and Stephon hasn't necessarily been producing before all this happened. I know cause I have him on one of my teams. It's not going to change much, and even if it does, thats just how it is sometimes.

You wouldn't be able to change your roster because one of your guys went cold 0 for 20 right? Or players traded or injured mid-week. Same thing. Sometimes you can't predict what will happen.

I don't think it's the same. The difference is that this request was put in before the first game for the players involved had even started.

But whatever. I'm allowed to disagree. I think it should be like football, where you have up until tipoff/kickoff of the player's first game of the week to switch players. Obviously, if their games have already started, then a switch shouldn't be allowed.

I accept the ruling, but I don't have to like it or agree with it.

And my team is 1-1, not 2-0. Most likely 1-2 now.

Hey, looks like Marbury is playing after all so no asterisk necessary. :p

Now if they would only trade him to a crappy team like Philly or Minnesota where he can dominate the ball and suck the life out of the team, then all will be well.

I just noticed that Chris Webber is now in the free agent list. HOWEVER, as I said to one manager during the draft, until he gets signed by a team, he cannot be picked up (he was not in the free agent list at that time).

Man, my good friend Fade, what has happened to you...........send me your address and I will go ahead and overnight those tissues to you.........Never expected that out of you............. :p :p

I leave for a week and came back, to see all these messages about wanting to get Nate in, over Marbury.............heck bring them all in........I'm still going to whip your butt this week............. :D :D

Since we are on the subject of switching past the deadline, any chance I can switch out Billups since he seems to be injured for a player to be named later............. :p :p

In all seriousness, Fade you know I am just giving you a hard time (heck, look at my team's motto this year)................

    Calm down there, poindexter.

Billups already played in a game this week before he got injured.
