    EVERYONE READ THIS....

    So that we can keep things moving, if you notice your pick is coming up soon (say 3-4 picks), put together a short list and send it to someone at the opposite end of the draft. I'm available during the day to accept lists.

    Whats the point of these lists? Why don't we just have shorter in-between-pick periods? Or a real live draft and get it over with?? *Shrugs..

    but Pimp is right, this is taking way too long.

    Dude, the list kinda ruins the whole point of the draft.. How can you "pick" without knowing who gets picked before you?

    Let's just set a date we can finish this draft, LIVE!

    Have you been in this league before? This is how it works....the draft is usually on the BBS. There is no live setup for this - IIRC.

    So you're going to send a list for every round? sounds very tedious to me. How about shortening the times in-between picks in addition to the lists? I'm sure it'll speed things up.

    You're missing the point. Complaining about how long everyone takes to draft is part of the charm of the ClutchFans league. It's part of our history and heritage.

    Pull up some previous drafts. This discussion happens every year.

    The fact is that this is the only way to accommodate everyone's schedule. And we still have 3 weeks until the season starts, so chill out.

    Smeg lives on the other side of the world. He's 14 hours ahead of us. We have to use 12 hour intervals to allow Smeg to get his beauty sleep. It's always been this way.

    We usually make it with about 5 hours left to pick up FAs and set lineups.

    Yeah. All the "expert" websites have him ranked really low because of his FT% and TOs. Luckily, those things don't really matter much in this league.

    I never said it was taking too long. It's a slow, live draft and always takes at least 2 weeks. I figure this one will take 3 since we have 16 teams.

    We encourage lists if your pick is coming up and you are going to be away for a few hours. It doesn't take much extra planning, so just do it rookie! ;)
