i think most fans will like both yao & tmac.
eg. i like most players in rockets. tmac, yao, battier, scola, hayes, ....

It might be possible to get a decent player plus a poison pill(difficult one to swallow) by moving his 23M contract plus the others. The question that arises is will that help us in the long run or not?
We will need some luck possibly in a 3 way to get a good deal. Not easy by any means.
Let's see what happens.

I will go on the record to say that Trading Tracy for anything less than a superstar is a mistake.

Thanks for sharing. Before reading your post, based on Clutch's info, I was thinking that McGrady is about to get on the court....and Adelman has no interest in seeing that happen. At the same time, if that were to be whats happening, why would Clutch tweet that about Adelman; what would be the reasoning? So that cant be it... The way you put it it seems like Adelman is just playing the bad guy? I dont see how Adelman would care about contracts so.... the only thing I fathom is it gotta be the player. That is unless hes just the "messenger". Now Im wondering what a transcript of the heated discussion between Tmac and Adelman would look like.

 

i will go on record as saying the rockets are better off without tracy. whether that means trading him, benching him, or just giving him one-way tickets to tibet, it's all good.

 

Having a super star does not garuntee a championship not having one garunteess you don't get one.

 

We don't have one whether Tmac plays or doesn't play.

We really don't know what we have. From the sound of things, we're moving on, so we'll have to see what we get out of this melodrama.

I guess T-Mac will just have to go All-Star in practice to show the world how he can ball and Adelman is all wrong. Until then . . .

I don't get all the people saying "give him a chance." Changing the rotation is a big deal. T-Mac does not run fast breaks, he takes 20 shots a game and shoots a rather low percentage, doesn't defend much. He'll break down our own offense in create holes in our defense. Just slip him in, take 20 shots from someone else, change to a half-court game, and hope he averages 20 and 5 assists?

 

Well we won't have one this year, it typically takes a year to come back from MF surgery and then it would take longer to get back to full health and mental trust as well.

I think Tmac may come back, but it won't be until next season, and by then he will be in another uniform anyway.

Don't you guys think that if Tmac was actually REALLY healthy that he would have gotten a chance?

I honestly think he is just not as healthy as he thinks he is.....still favors the knee and wants to get in shape while playing in games.
