Yes ! It was Auburn making history with our first #1 pick. Orlando had indicated that he was going there. I watched this kid all last year....he doesn't have an attitude problem, nor a problem with Houston. The disappointment was with not being #1. Bruce Pearl is there with he and Walker Kessler. Houston won't be sorry, neither will Jabari. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the Rockets get Kessler.

That is it completely, he doesn't have the ceiling of the first 2, but he fits perfectly on what we have now.

No matter what he must be pissed not getting number 1 spot but he is going to be a franchise player! If puts in the work he can make it happen. Welcome to Houston!

For real. I was so glad to hear his name called for them. I just wanted Jabari though so if Chet does well whatever because Jabari will be better

Somehow Perk has totally flipped my opinion of him—the Rockets love doesn’t hurt but he seems like he’s improving on actually providing analysis of players.

Do you think Detroit might feel a bit bummed about trading Grant now?

They perhaps thought Keegan Murray might be their guy in the frontcourt with Bey - oops.

I really like Ivey as a backcourt partner for Cade though - Cade is more the playmaker and Ivey can be a bit more free.
It will be VERY interesting to see what they do with their capspace now - can they snag a true C?

That Alves guy must be inconsolable.

    Welcome to Rockets Jabari!

Keep that chip on your shoulder and prove them all wrong!

man…i don’t get some of these cats. lol

Smith is 19, athletic, shoots 3’s at 40+%

He’s not a finished product and can and will improve on his weak areas.

He will fit along side, KPJ, Green and Sengun PERFECT.

People had NO problem with dude being slotted at 1, but now he’s a bust?!

    LMAO!

Some of these posters are straight bozos.
