Wow. Charlotte really screwed up if they had such a kings ransom on their hands. They could have drafted portis in 16 andmaybe also get bradley who they would need and picks.
According to ESPN's Chris Forsberg, the Celtics were so high on Winslow that they tried to trade six draft picks to the Charlotte Hornets for their No. 9 pick. The Celtics made a strong final push to multiple teams in spots 4-9 on draft day. It culminated with an all-in effort in attempt to get Charlotte to deliver the No. 9 pick with Boston lusting for Duke forward Justise Winslow (the same player they coveted while trying to shuffle higher). According to sources, the Celtics' final offer to the Hornets was a package that could have featured as many as six draft picks, including four potential first-round selections (a combination of picks from this draft and in the future). But the Hornets could not be swayed and turned down multiple offers to select Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky. Meeting with reporters in the aftermath of the draft, Ainge hinted at his team's dogged pursuit. "Maybe we were going too hard at it," he said. "There was a time when I thought, ‘Woah, this is getting a little out of control.' We're putting a lot of eggs in one young player's basket. So I'm not frustrated. In the long run, maybe it'll be the best." http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/25225934/report-celtics-wanted-to-trade-6-picks-for-hornets-no-9-pick

Morey: +Rockets about winning and these guys are winners on the highest stage +We look for players that fit our style of play +Sam is versatile offensively, attack off the catch, transition, finish at a high rate, puts pressure on the D with ability to attack with either hand. +Montrezl can play in transition, defend at a high level, led country in dunks and it wasn't close. +Sam might get more dunks in our system
Looks like denzel livingston from Waltrip and Incarnate Word got picked up by the Rockets. Great scorer, Good size if he can play point. Not sure he can but was never asked to at UIW. At lot of scouts were interested in him after Portsmouth.

http://owlsports.com/news/2015/6/26/MBB_0626150512.aspx Will Cummings of Temple University signed with the Rockets and should be on the Rockets Summer League roster. I liked this kid. He's a very fierce competitor and quick off the dribble. Can facilitate and get the transition ball going. He's not a great shooter though. Maybe streaky is a better word for it. From what I've seen, I think he's a poor man's Beverley. Best of luck Will!
