no. only way we trade Lin is if we 100% have a free agent ready to commit. Otherwise we will keep him and the pick that we would have to trade with him in the salary dump.
Lebron said he'd want to play with Shabazz Napier, oddly enough. Rockets should make a move. Hes solid anyway.
I'm super jealous clutch. Would love to take a flyer on the 7'2" raw kid Walter Tavares, and stash him over seas for a year. And then bring him in and let Dream and Dwight work with him. Or better yet, trade the pick for a 1st next year.
My top 5 for players that could realistically be there 1. Shabazz Napier 2. Cleanthony Early 3. KJ McDaniels 4. Clint Capela 5. Glenn Robinson III But If somehow Dario Saric drops, I hope we're all over that
Makes sense to me. We have no idea what we'll need until after FA. Next season though, we'll have a core intact of Parsons, Harden, Howard, and ?(Melo,Love,Millsap,Lebron,Lowry etc.). We'll know what we need and what our weaknesses are. And we'll have this pick and NO's to address it.
Is there any precedent for trading a current year low 1st round pick for a future 1st, does it have that kind of trade value? Particularly, is it feasible to trade the #25 for a 2015 1st that has a little upside (surely it would have some form of lotto protection, but I wonder if Morey could get some reverse protection on it as well like he has been doing). The reason I ask, is I would love to come away with more ammo for a potential Love trade - I think a future 1st or high quality Euro stash would be most likely to hold value beyond draft day. It would be amazing to amass enough future assets for a bonafide trade offer for Love that does not include Parsons.
I believe he will. My guesses are to Philly or Toronto. Can't wait for tonight. I am sure the BBS will be in an uproar to tonight either way.
I don't think we keep 25. It's probably gonna be a couple 2nd rounders that we bring to camp this year or stash overseas. At this stage cap space is more important than young prospects, no matter how deep this draft is.

Does draft actually start at 6 central or is that when espn coverage begins. Out here on the west coast i'm gonna miss more than an hour at work.
Lebron never said that. He said Napier was a cant miss prospect. Doesn't mean he'd be any less excited too play with a tougher defender like Beverley.
