    I'm actually kind of glad.

Josh Smith is 27, never been an all-star, and plays in the East.

Not worth it, especially since we could just get him for nothing in the off season.

This sounds like it was a love letter to J Smith, showing that we really wanted him. So, when it's his time to decide, he remembers that we were after him.

I applaud the discipline. Don't deal with unreasonable people.

There's a big difference between talking & negotiating...

    EVERY team is talking

Pulling out was my preferred method.

Like I said.....if they get a better offer than ours then you can rule us out. ATL just waiting til the last minute to get better offers. T-Rob plus picks....can't get any better than that.

I think its D-MO time! No way Mchale puts a rookie with limited playing time (although high upside) in the starters role without giving D-MO and maybe even Jones a look.

I think DMO is our starting PF going forward with the occassional weird matchup with Delfino, Parsons, and Smith possibly starting at PF/SF depending on matchups. T-Rob is a project, not a guy you throw into the fire right away.

Wow, if that was Mauri's gameplan, then this dude is playing mind chess - no wonder he was able to dupe petrie into giving us robinson for our leftovers.
