Damn. I can just see it now. The Spurs in next year's finals with their new late season contributors, just up from the D League, the Royce White and Robinson we all dreamed of astounding the Finals Announcers and giving the Heat fits along with Tony, Tim, and the rest of the gang.
23 year old Harden > 30+ Dirk. Parsons, Asik, and Lin better than anything else Dallas has. Howard and Dirk alone won't make them instant contenders, except to be first round fodder.
Not going through 63 pages of this thread to see if it's been discussed... Those were the ugliest f***ing hats I've ever seen. Carry on.

Naw, Cuban and the Mavs are merely blowing sunshine and kisses up the MFFLs collective behinds. They have been blowing this kind of smoke for two years now - so much so that you can hear it recited on a daily basis on TV and radio. IMO, they have the same shot at Howard that they had with Chris (Cliff?) Paul: ZERO. They are already planning this year's PR campaign which will be "financial flexibility" for next year when they will make a "serious" run at LeeeeBron. IF and that's IF Howard is serious about leaving LA, the best place for his softness would be Houston because they have more players to put around him than does Dallas. In Dallas, he'd be with an aging Dirk, an aging Shawn Marion and an aging Vince Carter. Yeah, I can really see him excited to join that lineup. Still don't believe one word he and his camp is saying about Houston and Dallas. As I see it, he's trying to force the Lakers into a sign-and-trade with the Clippers. That way, he, Blake & Paul can become the new West Coast version of the "Super Friends".
This Isiah Canaan guy must be a really good player if samurais, and ninjas on Twitter are constantly saying that the Rockets got a steal of a player in the draft over and over again.
