HOUSTON (FOX 26) - With the Houston Rockets heading into the NBA Draft with three first-round picks, the 12th, 16th, and 18th overall, sources with knowledge of the team's focus told FOX 26 Sports the club has significant interest in the top shooting guards and true centers. The Rockets are also looking for a player with tremendous upside like forward Perry Jones III, who arrived in Houston Wednesday night to meet with the team. NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports issues surrounding Jones' health, specifically with his knee, are overblown. Sources told FOX 26 Jones met with the Rockets' team physicians on Wednesday and he was cleared to play. The Rockets appear to be showing strong interest in shooting guards Austin Rivers and Terrence Ross as well seven-footers Andre Drummond and Meyers Leonard.
Unless they're taking him to flip in a trade becasue they know other teams want him... then DO NOT WANT.
I am ok with Ross, the others no. I would take Lamb with the 12th, but I think he will be gone. I agree with the rest of the stuff you said.
So, we'd trade up to get Drummond at 5. Trade up to get 6-9 pick to get Austin Rivers, before he goes to the Hornets at 10. Take the best we can at 18, PJIII? Or someone else? That would be a ballsy draft full of high-potential prospects, but could also be one of the biggest busts for a team in the draft. Sounds risky.
anyone have a steam? im not in the US I dont want to miss the draft, if anyone has one it would be much appreciated, thank you
