I think GM's all across the league (except for Sacramento) have gotten together and blacklisted Morey. "No second round picks for that F**ker."
If they did that no wonder they lost. You don't put your best defender on the guy that makes plays for everyone else on the team. I still stand by my opinion that it was a horrible trade for Wolves. Anyway back to topic. Nobody wants to trade with DM anymore. Its fallout from the good trades he's done.
UKCoachCalipari Congrats to @pdpatt for being selected as the #14 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets
I'm sure it's just a matter of how much Morey's willing to pay. It's one thing to pay $3 mil for a guy who could be in your rotation next year, but not if he's just a benchwarmer for the next two years. After all, money is money. It's not like Les' money is worth less than OKC's.
It reminds me of the Maciej Lampe (another 7-footer) situation back in 2003. Most mock drafts had him going in the lottery but he dropped to the early second round...and look how he turned out. Jesus, was that really 7 years ago?
From what Feigen said, Rockets were desperately trying to get in on the 2nd round. No other team gave them the nod.
Lol. Also Lol at these lames chanting USA whenever a international player is drafted, what is the point
