Did anyone see this already... The oddly bold proclamation that Yao Ming’s broken foot wasn’t healing properly is suspicious to some league executives. They wonder if Houston is mostly setting the stage to get Yao out of the wear-and-tear duty of playing with the Chinese national team this summer. “That has smokescreen written all over it,” one Western Conference executive said. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...F?slug=aw-draftbuzz062409&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
no no its gotta be holiday...who else can be considered to have been "slipping" to pick 16??? that was when that post was posted...ur a bit behind with that post
wow that guy blogging from the war room is wrong on every pick shows how much great information is headed the Rockets' direction wow...disappointing day
That's $3M to the Rockets team salary they're about 5.8M under LT for next season while still having to add a starting SG. So that leaves $2.8M for a starting SG.
Portland didn't need to add salary thanks to Memphis. I doubt the kid comes over anytime in the next 3 years.
Live from the Rockets' War Room! Jun 25, 2009 8:39 PM Unless it's Omri Casspi... Both would be great picks. 8:36 Sounds like the Blazers are about to nab DeJuan Blair. If so, one of the best young teams in the league just got even better. Terrifying.
who said they wanted someone who slipped to 16? Just because it was posted around pick 16 doesnt mean houston was reacting to him being picked.....it could mean they were reacting to someone NOT being picked at 16 and was still slipping...for all we knows they are still slipping..
