I could live with Greene and Arthur for Batum. Still think Batum will be a better than both of them though.

This seems like an unusual draft with the order of its various picks... makes me say "Hmmm..."

Welcome aboard, Maarty Luenen! :) :D

Utah drafted an all white players this year.

I think they should call themselves Utah SnowFlakes.

    Jazz just don't sound right.

    another forward? Maarty?

Have you ever been close to an explosion and all you hear is ringing while you stand in a daze. It's pretty close to what I feel right now. I don't get any of this. We have conflicting trade rumors and all of them except Greene are forwards and Greene is 6'10".

I can't take this any more. I'm going to bed and hopefully see something after the smoke clears.

    To clear the confusion:

According the Chron, we traded Nic Batum for rights to Memphis's Donte Greene, and Joey Dorsey.

So NO, we are NOT getting Marty Leunen. Thank god. I've seen him a couple of times, and I was surprised he was even drafted.

Awesome! Another Duck added to the Rockets. Maarty Leunen was the leader of the Ducks even though there were 2 other more talented seniors (Bryce taylor and Malik Hairston). Looks like Morey really knows what he's doing. Leunen is not great at anything but he can play. I'd say his game is most similar to Luke Walton. I hope he makes the team!

Yeah at this point I think the trade for Greene and Dorsey reported on Chron is more likely than Arthur and Dorsey seen on draftexpress and that Oregon site, since we took another PF with the 54th.

Ideally we'd get Greene and Arthur, but that's not gonna happen.

we traded batum for arthur and dorsey. we sent arthur and our #54 to Memphis for Greene and a future 2nd. What's missing is that we had to give them something else. Either there are players involved, or we gave them a future first round.

Hayes or Landry have to go this summer... Dorsey can help on the boards and can score a little bit. Greene will be a project for two years. He has talent but needs to work on his game. I think Morey has a trade in mind already for the summer.

Sigh.....do you not read any other posts/threads to make sure?

The Blazers are NOT involved in this trade, so we are NOT getting their pick, so we are NOT getting Maaaaaarty Leunen.

Again-I'll say it again: Thank GOD
