If the Rox could somehow trade Dorsey, if that is indeed who we got after all, for CDR and pick up yet more picks that would be amazing.
There has to be some kind of trade going on. I just can't believe that the Rockets trade to get two forwards when we need a shooting guard that can create his own shots. If they were big like seven footers, I might be able to see it for the future, but these guys are what 6'9".
Teams have expressed interest in Landry....maybe this is our way of getting a high-caliber swingman. Replace him with Arthur...but i really like me some Landry i will stay posted. this is getting interesting.
...I actually swore aloud when NJ picked CD-R; I was getting excited about the possibilities... BattiersBaby.
We're probably just taking the best players available. As for why they both play the same position, at that point of the draft, we can't really expect both to make the team, anyhow. We take both, and hope one of them steps up.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5858961.html The Rockets are currently working on a deal to move up to a higher draft position in the second round. They are scheduled to make their next pick in the No. 54 slot. This is what is probably happening. HOPEFULLY!
It must by cyclic, one year we accumulate all the point guards, the next year we accumulate a ton of power forward.
Maybe the phoneline had a lot of static and the Portland GM heard Memphis ******** and thought it meant Dorsey instead of CDR??
