Darrell Arthur and early 2nd round pick!

 

I love this deal.

 

I was just informed by the Trailblazers that Nicolas Batum was traded by Houston to Portland in exchange for the rights to Darrell Arthur and one of Portland’s early second round picks.

 

Is there a link for that?

I wanted Arthur over Batum, but was happy with either one. But we also milked a 2nd, EARLY 2nd, with him.

Guys, Darrell Arthur AND CDR!!! Or DeAndre Jordan, or Richard Hendrix!

 

Perhaps CDR will be picked up with that early 2nd round pick the Rockets just got...?

 

Makes all the disappointment of not getting a contributor go away that's for sure. Assuming the rumor is true...

I'm ok with it as long as Arthur's health is all right.That 2nd rounder can help too. Arthur is no joke.

First time we didn't get raped on draft day.

 

CDR has a good chance to fall to us. neither minnesota nor seattle have a great need for him.

 

Greene will definitely not contribute this year, and will likely be in the development league. Arthur would not get ahead of Scola, Landry and Hayes in the PF rotation and would also not contribute anytime soon.

 

is arthur a 3 or 4?

 

Oh damn, Boston takes J.R. Giddens, a player that the Lakers were enamored with with the 58th pick. There's some drama...

 

If we get Arthur, they may let Landry go in a S&T then. Arthur is not a C so he can't back up Yao so I would not understand that trade. We have Scola and could resign Landry at the PF spot.

 

There is still CDR, Chalmers, and Jordan....I we get that 33 pick...yeah baby.
