I can't believe Boston is going to get an excellent player at the 30th pick. That is one incredibly lucky team.
So the Rockets got the Nickybater. Yay, I think. Now I'm waiting to see what trades unfold, if any... ...which prompts a question for the draft vets on the BBS: is this a really quiet draft, tradewise, or is it normal to only have one or two trades in a draft?
I think that is a pick for the future and at worst can be a trade chip. This is a trick to stock international young player with your late 1st round and hope after a few years the player will develop into a lottery worthy pick. Low risk, high reward move.
If Richard Hendrix goes #31 (Minn) or #33 (Port), I bet we traded down. T-Wolves make more sense since they're clearly rebuilding.
Why would Batum care where he's going? What, did he think Tony Parker was going to invite him over to hang out with Eva by the pool on off-days?
Awww, hell naw. You better play %110 for us, boy. I don't care who you wanted to play for, we pick you, we own you, you will do as you are told here. You are program to destory the Spurs now.
Just having a lot of talent does not mean the team and chemistry will happen. Also, none of their players have really shown they will lead and carry that team to be a contender. I really think you need that superstar player. Oden or Aldridge may be that player. Roy is a great player, but I don't think he is that type of player, at least not yet. However, they now have way too many players.
Also, wasn't this guy rumored to have a heart condition? Is this what it's come to: the best we can do now is spiff off the Spurs? Whatever happened to trying to win a championship?
That Pau for a handful of magic beans trade still p!sses me off. *not risking the wrath of the obscenity filter*
Watch the video at the bottom of this page. Methinkie you will liky. http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/nicolasbatum.html
Est exactement Batum de ce que cette équipe a besoin. Il équipera dedans bien de cette équipe une fois qu'il peut aller.
Batum is a trade chip. We picked him for another team before San Antonio got him. I'm pretty sure we traded down.
