    Scenario One
    Outgoing:
    Alston, Head, 2008 1st rounder
    Incoming:
    Channing Frye, Rudy Fernandez, filter

    Scenario Two(3 teams trade)
    Outgoing:
    (Houston) Sura + Vspan + Snyder(or 2008 1st rounder) + Head
    (Sacramento) Ron Artest
(New York) David Lee + Future 1st rounder + filter
    Incoming:
    (Houston) David Lee + filter
(Sacramento) Sura, Vspan, Snyder(or 2008 1st rounder), Head, NY future 1st rounder
    (New York) Ron Artest

Kings could get cap relieve to rebuild the team next year, as well as the 3 point threat in Luther Head and two potential 1st rounders.. (I think this is better than any offer they have on the table)

New York needs an SF and they really seem like Artest. After they acquire Randolf, David Lee is much more expendable than before

they have richardson and jared jefferies. thats pretty decent, and would do well in the east. all the knicks need is some freakin chemistry, and they'll be clickin.

I think they didn't like Richardson much and try to trade him away. Jared Jefferies is above average, but I think they are looking to add a all-start SF at the spot.. There was a link on another thread about NY is looking for a SF..

    Krockets -

In your scenarios above (which ARE do-able) BTW), I think you mean "filler" rather than "filter" in each section that appears.

And, if NY is looking for an All Star SF, why not send them Battier if it brings us David Lee. He's the ulimate energy guy and will save Yao A LOT of foul trouble and rebounding energy for the offensive end, plus he will double anything Deke adds in put-backs alone.

This is one of the few scenarios where I probably would NOT regret seeing Battier leave town.

For some reason I felt like reading through this thread again today to see some of the ridiculous responses. Here's my post (one of, if not the first positive Brooks post in the thread):

I'm wrong a lot, but it feels good to know I got this one right.

So how about you guys? Anybody else want to quote their first Brooks reaction post? It'll be fun.

Ok, seriously, I think there needs to be a stricter enforcement of bumping old threads. Dude, you could have easily started your own thread with quotes from this one. This is a waste.

just because a thread is old doesn't mean it shouldn't be bumped. Plus this one is 800 + replies long it's not as if he can quote everything. Probably some good stuff in here to look at too so relax.

I had an Aaron Brooks jersey his rookie season when he didn't even play.

I managed to be in Mexico on vacation during that draft and with a destroyed laptop. Scanning through this thing, however, made me laugh, I have to admit. All the chest thumping and angst over not getting Morris Almond! The freakout over drafting Brooks. Almond's not even in the league any longer, is he?

Reading back some of those old posts, this has got to be one of my favorites.

I have to admit. The Brooks pick caught me by surprise.
