The only problem I have with the "we're definitely making a trade" crowd is this: it's the EXACT same thing we all said after the Rox drafted Luther Head a couple of seasons ago. Remember that?

Regardless of what you think of the pick (I think it sucks), no one has any business coming on here and screaming curse words in giant bold letters because the Rockets didn't pick who YOU wanted. The guy may be horrible, but how many of you guys booed the Rockets when they drafted Robert Horry because you wanted Harold Minor (Clutch did).
There's no way we can know that. Last year, everyone said the same thing about Balkman when NY took him in the first round. Later, it came out that Phoenix likely would have picked him a couple spots later. Sometimes, the opinions of the media differ from those of NBA GMs, so we can't really know that he would have been there later.
Given the report that the Rocket's are keeping Brooks, I stand by my earlier remark: Our team is run my morons. How much proof do we need? The Rocket's ineptitude in the draft is utterly mind-bogling. They could have probably gotten this kid at 54. I'm totally disgusted.

Houston Organizations just don't get it... it's not always about their percieved ideas, give the fans something to cheer about once and a while... draft a project like Rudy Gay Rashard Lewis or Tiago Splitter. Instead San Antonio got another great project and we are left behind hoping for only a moderately better player out of the deal... You know what Lindsey is doing now...he's thanking the Good Lord for giving him the chance to bail out on this sinking ship, and land with an organization that knows what the heck it's doing, one that has four chips in nine years. I seldom call out individuals on this board or even dump on entire posts.... although I may have issues with a particular post.... I do actually try to contribute to discussions in a positive way, and this is the only time since advocating for Rudy's ouster four years ago that I have spoken a negative word to the "moderators" so if I'm banned for being pissed off at the ROX Mgmt as well as our moderators... so be it. As the draft moves along, and other teams keep getting better, especially in the Western Conference, especially involving players that EVERYONE on this board suggested we take.... I have to wonder if maybe anyone in the NBA is actually returning calls from the Rockets front office.... I am SO pissed off!!!!!!! F*ck Daryl Morey!!!!!
They have no draft picks. If there was a trade, it probably should have come out by now. I'm beginning to get nervous. Oh well, it's not like we drafted Olowokandi or Kwame. Getting nothing for the 26th pick is not so bad; I mean the Suns have been selling off low 1st round draft picks for the past few years and they've been doing fine.
