    does anyone have a spare rb to trade i can package alstott plus one of my tes or crowell and/or darnay scott for one-depending on the quality i could add emmitt smith to the deal,

    also possibly aaron brooks if youre in need of a starting qb but id need a good backup in return besides the rb

    Hopefully I'm not speaking too early (the stats aren't updating properly on Sandbox), but it looks like the last of the undefeated teams has been crushed! :D (many thanks to Priest Holmes, Mr. Touchdown!)

    Owens and Garcia blew up today. My unofficial calculations has Garcia with 36 points and Owens with 30. Alexander had another huge week with an unofficial score of 19 fantasy points. The rest of my team performed fairly, but thanks to these three guys I have likely won this week barring a miracle by DARO's squad.

    Who else tried to grab Trung Canidate? Like always, I didn't waste any time in grabbing him as soon as I heard about Faulk getting injured. The latest on Faulk is that he will be out of action for the next 3-4 weeks. He will undergo more tests tomorrow on his right knee. St. Louis is playing the Jets' anemic run defense next week, so I am sitting pretty at the moment.

    You are lucky you are catching me on a weekend when Garcia, Owens, Alexander, Cortez, and Rice are all having bye weeks. It should be close although I still believe I will pull it out next weekend. I just have to hope that Schroeder's ankle injury isn't too serious and that Pathon is able to return from his foot injury. Canidate is a must-start along with Ahman Green and Warrick Dunn. My third offensive flex position will come down to Pathon and Maurice Smith.


    Don't forget everyone: There is a Thursday Night game this week on ESPN, so set your rosters before 7:30 CST on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001.

    Dammit, I'm ranked #2, will probably beat #1, and will fall to fourth.

    This sounds suspiciously like the BCS.....

    edit: Even worse, I have beaten the top 3 teams head-to-head and given them all their only loss! I now definitely feel like Miami in last year's BCS! grrrr.

    Unless Champ Bailey scores more than 11 points, here are the standings:

    1st place- Myself (4-1, 461 pts.)
    2nd place- Blake (4-1, 450 + Bailey's pts.)
    3rd place- Thomas (4-1, 451 pts.)
    4th place- Shanna (4-1, 415 pts.)

    That sets up a showdown with the first and second place teams next week. Hopefully, being minus Garcia, Owens, Alexander, Cortez, and Rice won't hinder my chances of winning against Blake. Favre has to have a bad game and he can't get the same production he got from his offensive flex players. Oh yeah, Strahan needs to calm down!

    Honestly, I'll be amazed if you beat me. I've consistently scored in the 70s and 80s, and the only player I won't have is Garner. I should be ahead of you by next week.

    I tried to get trung,but you beat me to it again.My season is quickly going into the crapper unless I make a trade for a decent RB....anyone ?
    I've gotta shake some things up.... No one on my team is safe if the right deal comes along.

    1-4 my record is toilet paper.

    In my 4 losses, my opponents averaged 101.75ppg.

    In my three losses that I submitted lineups, I've averaged 87.66ppg.

    For reference, the 4-1 teams average 88.9 ppg.

    In conclusion, Dr Evil has stolen my Mojo.

    PS George is about to go on AFC Central Rampage (Balt not included).

    I feel your pain JJ...I'm facing another tough matchup this week, and it's likely I'll drop to 1-5 after this weekend :( I'm glad this isn't my only team or it would be pretty depressing.

    I'm 3-2 in another sandbox league.I also have two yahoo teams one is 4-1 and the other is 3-1(started a week late) Yes I have become a fantasy sports junkie.

    In my money league, I'm 3-2, but my bye weeks are over already. 4 starters out in one game and we only start 8.

    We have 6 owners, but need 4 more. I am waiting on responses from mr_0ily, Thomas, Drewdog, and DVauthrin. If I don't hear anything from them today, then I will recruit 4 more people who will be active owners. If you know of anyone please let them know to send me their info.

    As for the football. Looks like Thursday being the deadline for roster setting is possibly going to be my downfall. I have Schroeder slated at WR, but he is questionable and it will not be known if he is going to play until Friday at the earliest. Now I hear that Faulk might play Sunday. If that is the case, then Candidate is useless at Offensive flex where I have him now. I would like to sub Pathon in for Maurice Smith since he is going against a tough Saints defense, but Pathon is not assured of starting and a decision won't be made until Friday at the earliest. Man, it really sucks to have your top 3 weapons on bye weeks at the same time. If McNair doesn't have at least a semblance of a good game, then I have no chance. Detroit's defense sucks so I think he will have a good game.
