HELL YEAH BABY!!! Lots of fun. BTW, that chicken feta pizza rocked! It was great to meet some of the cc.net crowd in person. I haven't talked so much about the Rockets in a long time. Tim, Jay and Ken are all very cool people, and TRUE Rocket fans (unlike the people who whined about smoke but then didn't come . . . ). We must do this again. Our small area of the room was blowing up on that Cato pass.
Sorry to sell out tonight...at the last minute some friends came over for a sort of pre-birthday bash.... Anyway...I hope we do another one soon before the EOS...I'll be there...smoke or not x34
Just wanted to thank Vengeance, B, and Gutter Snipe for coming out to Barry's Pizza for a cc.net-Houston member gathering. x34, we missed you man! I had a great time. It was exactly why I wanted organize a gathering, get some rabid fans together to watch our favorite team. Like I've mentioned before, I only have one friend who is a Rockets fan, and he never goes out, except to my house, or vice versa. For me to see other fans feverishly cheer for and talk about the Rockets with the passion that I do, no words can describe that feeling. We were discussing everything we would on the board (without any Best Dressed Poster polls). From potential draft picks to the Rice trade to the surprise performance of Eddie Griffin, we missed most of the 1st quarter because we talked so much! Great fans, great pizza, great beer, except for the pushy waitress, the gathering was successful. Hopefully more members will show up next time.
