One: This thread is awesome. Two: I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know that there are so many people from all over the world who have decided to become Rockets fans, who've thrown in with the team and are sticking with them. That's just great. Three: Born and raised in Houston, live in NYC.
Huntsville in the pen...errr..house! (actually Clear Lake, but H-ville is still considered home). HHS '90. Rocket fan '81. What has happened to the Hornets football team? Ugghhh.
BoomBoom, Haven't had much of a chance to follow the Hornets lately, though I know there are still a few coaches hanging around from when I was there. I hope they still don't wear the tight polyester blend shorts so gloriously captured in "Dazed and Confused." BREAK DOWN! HHS '80 Rockets fan since the move
I'm from Sweden and have been a rocketfan since the early 90-s. I think it's great that cc.net is so international. It seems like me and my brother (legendary21) are the only swedes here though. The only ones who post at least. nilsrock
MR, Grew up in Nashville but have lived in Dallas for ten years. Started following the Rockets in the late 60's when we lived in San Diego and they were the San Diego Rockets (before moving to Houston). One of those years Pat Riley was our first round draft choice out of Kentucky. He is a much better coach than he was a player! Dallas Rocket
Hey TC, you can't watch specific games cos there are no independant cable companies. The best way would be off the web if you have a fast cable connection or sumthin'. Or find the next best thing, the CC.Net CHAT !! You get instant updates as well as get to crap with the rest of the gang. Where are you at now anyway? Your previous mail hinted something about Indonesia?
Yeah lived i still stuck down south in indonesia.... GO ROCKETS GO...!! I am in that clutch chat. I'm usually the one handin virtual drinks... hahhaha

LA's #1 Rockets Fan, Pippendagimp- Sorry, but I am LA's #1 Rocket Fan and I'll explain why. First, I was born in South Africa and moved to Dallas at the age of 8 months. When I was two my family moved to Houston where I began to comprehend sports. In 1989 we moved to LA and I have been here ever since. Anyways heres some of my great Rocket moments.... 1. First, I actually live in the heart of LA county in Beverly Hills. 2. My first game was in the 1983-1984 season versus the Utah Jazz in "The Summit," the year before Hakeem (By the way John Lucas was amazing in that game giving us the win!). 3. My most Vintage game was Game 4 of the 1986 Western Conference Finals verses the Los Angeles Lakers amidst chants of BEAT LA! 4. I attended the 1989 All Star game in Houston. 5. I was front row on the floor for the 1989 regular season game versus the Clippers when Danny Manning and Buck Johnson Traded full court shots at the final seconds of the first half. 6. (My favorite) In the first round of the 1996 Playoffs versus the Lakers I attended game 4 of the series. It was Magic johnson's last game at home and we beat them. I sat on the floor for the second half in full Rocket Attire (Old red Uni's and hat). As the game ended I stood on center court and put my hands in the air for everyone to see. By the way the whole rocket bench saw me during the game and were laughing at how someone dressed like me could actually be on the floor. Anyways, there are many more memories, but I think that pretty much sums up my reign as LA's #1 Rocket Fan! Anyways, I would love to hear your

BigSexy -- Welcome aboard to the Clutch BBS!! The 2002 NBA Draft will be televised on the TNT network (you can get satellite, right?) Wednesday (June 26) at 7:00 PM New York Time. If my math is correct, Melbourne is 14 hours ahead of New York time, so that would mean you would see it in Melbourne at 9:00 AM Thursday (June 27). All the best, Bryan
