I do not think this is a trash team. If Mobley can paly a team ball, then we have three big men (Yao, Steve, and Mobley himself) to organise the play. Taylor can shoot the ball well and rebound, Posey is also potent. Just give some time for Boki to grow up. This team is bound for the ring.

Maybe the team are tired because of the run in the 3rd quarter?

I think the nicest thing is that it looks like our mains guys (Yao and Francis) are not the kind of players who play for their own stats. They both have double-double/triple-double chances but they put the team win first. It's good to see such unselfish play. I think that's the mark of a championship team. The future is bright. :)

After more than 2 days rest, Yao has another poor shooting but good rebounding night. Seems to fit the pattern.

You have real low expectation! Rox with Yao and Steve should make the playoff and anything less would be very disappointing.
The Rockets caught a break tonite with the wolves gone cold from the field and they still lost that big lead towards the end. At this point in the season, the rockets' not a quality team.

I think Yao's role in the team should be rebounding and assisting. If the Rockets rely on Yao to score, then the opponent team just need to shut down Yao only. Yao needs to pass the ball well and assist other scorers. The opponent team have to work on the whole Rockets.

No, he should work on all three: shooting, rebounding, and assisting. I'm glad he finds his rebound touch again, and his assist also goes well. Now he needs to fix his shooting.

If Yao doesn't score much we won't win many more games.I'm happy that he rebounded and passed well tonight.

So just need to use hands instead of mouth like Mo Taylor did before.
Oh yeah, the other players should learn from Taylor to stand up for Yao, so Yao will pass the ball more to them in future games. :D

So Taylor must become the best buddy of Yao for him to get passes from Yao to become the man in tonite's game. :D

Believe or not, most times Mr. Pine has been practicing his basketball skills and drinking gatorade instead of doing his job,
and nobody even blames him. That is a really nice job;)

Even the T-Wolves announcers recognized and stated over and over the need to run the offense through Yao AND for Yao to get more than his average of 8.6 shots per game. They said he should be the one shooting 18 times a game...not the two guards.

Mobley then proceeded to prove them right with his "shoot first, shoot second, shoot third, pass(turnover)when caught in mid air philosophy". They really let him have it when he sucked his and Yao's defender to the free throw line while Yao cut WIDE OPEN to the basket---naturally Mobley didn't even think to pass him the ball.

They also remarked how they'd been hearing around the league how others are also puzzled by how much longer it'll take before the Rockets figure out they need to go through Yao primarily. Does everyone else, including fans, know this except for the Rockets or does Rudy just not have the "cajones" to bring the hammer down on players like Mobley?

Rudy needs to hammer down on the palyers one by one. If Mobley persists in his own play, he is going to be hammered sooner or later.
