On paper, Rox are a better team (even if you consider KG is better than our 3 and 4 added together). Prob is, we have no clue how to play together and passing is a lost art to us. So I'm guessing we lose, again.

The only way we can win this game is by making sure Toast watches this game.

Check out the houstonchronicle.com and read what Rice has to say about the Rockets. Bottom line is, he's pouting b/c he doesn't get enough shots off in a game.

Teams like the Wolves are the latter day nemeses of these Rox. Teams with Garnett or Wallace or Webber.

The Rox have started to beat these teams, they must continue.

EG is the key. MoT cannot stay with that type of '4'. So, Eddie, good lad, get up and at KG! If yes, then YEA! a win!!!

Rockets will win. Yao usually play better when he faces the team 2nd time, esp. the 1st time is lose.

Personally, I hope Wally plays tonight. When a player comes back from injury after a long time of being out, and isn't the #1 option on the team, it usually disrupts the flow of the team a little bit, for a game or two.

And plus, Wally is a punk and I want to see Mobley light him up. And perhaps have him get stuffed by either EG, Ming, or both.

Do you really think that Wally will make that much of a difference in his first game back?

I am guaranteeing a Rockets win. They have to win. This is a must win. We will drop down to the #8 spot in the Western Conference if we do not win this game. The Rockets shall win this game easily. They did not play good on their longest homestand. They went 2-3. That is terrible. They better win this game.

You think he does?? You clearly don't watch the games...he hasn't got quality touches in the last five games..and guess what the Rockets have done....lost my friend, lost. Glen deserves the ball more. If he doesn't score this team does not make the playoffs, plain and simple. I don't care if you Like or Dislike GLen, he's on this team, and needs to be allowed to play his role, which is scoring and leadership...and the leadership is only there if you give him the ball. This James Posey experiment is not working very well...Glen needs to be on the floor...his positves outweight his negatives...and I don't wanna here the old and slow nonsense...he plays team basketball..which is what the Rockets win doing. GLen will help this team win..but not on the bench in the 4th quarter. Again, you Texans and your basketball IQs are a disgrace.

And after reading the article, I'm even more steadfast in my view. He's completely on target with everything he said....the Rockets need you play team basketball...because neither Steve nor Cuttino can carry this team nite in and out...that's why we have so many weapons...no if we could only use them. It's too bad that Rudy won't coach the team, I'm glad Glen's at least trying...it makes the 9mil more understandable.

no, no, no, you misunderstood what I said. You (I'm assuming it was you) said that Yao played well against the Pacers the first time - he didn't, that was his first NBA game, he sucked. He played well only the second time, but yeah, he played well against other teams the second time around also.

Shorthanded Wolves Suffer Worse Loss in NBA History

HOUSTON, January 7 (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves endured the worse loss of NBA history Tuesday night. The 69-point defeat came after 4 Wolves players were ejected.

With 2:02 gone in the first quarter, Glen Rice, after hitting a three-pointer, said something later described by Kevin Garnett as "mean," and then took a swing at the 7'0 All-Star. Garnett went up to Rice and punched him in the jaw, and Kendall Gill, Troy Hudson, and Gary Trent subsequently rushed to their teammate's aid, leaving the bloody Rice on the ground with a broken arm and a toothless smile. Being helped off the court by Rockets trainers Keith Jones and Michelle Leget, cameras caught him yelling hoarsely to his teammates "Let's go, guys. Enough of this [stuff]. Let's kick their [butts] and win this [darn] ballgame!

Rice, Garnett, Gill, Hudson, and Trent were ejected, and Flip Saunders decided it was a game for the bench.

Wow. I guess Rice really did want to help the team.

CRAP!!! Ignore my last post. I meant to quote and reply to this:

    Why, why, why?

Why do the Rockets come down, take their
sweet time, look clueless, and then shoot
air balls? While the opponents come down
run one simple play and score immediately?

    :(

And the sooner the Mobley realizes that he's
below Yao in the chain of command, the better.
