Payback time, I love to see:

"Yao Ming's nasty crossover fools that Stephon to lose his balance and roll straight out of the baseline."

Well, that's not likely to happen. But, I will be happy if Yao dunks in the faces of any PhX. Set the FIRE, Yao Ming.

The first game was close. Question is, which team has improved the most since then? Who will have the best game plan?

    ROX 95
    Suns 86

    My first score prediction.......ooooooooooooooooohhhh

Rockets 87 Suns 86. Rockets blow a 14pt three-quarter time lead. 12 seconds to go....Francis crosses over Marbury, dishes the rock to Ming who drives on Stoudamire and throws down two for the win (And ONE!!!).

Just for the record, I dont think he is from Houston, I believe it Florida.

I personally hope that Yao can get some distance between him, and Amare....

It will be tough, but Im expecting a Rockets Win against the Suns!

    Rockets must and will win.

    Here are the reasons:
    1. Suns' guard A. Hardaway is injured
    2. Suns' center is injured. Backup center J. Voskuhl should be no match to Yao.
    3. Suns play back-to-back basketball game. We have 1 day rest.
    4. The game is hosted at Compaq center.
    5. Rice does not play.

    Being conservative, I predict
    Rockets 93
    Suns 90

That win they got against us earlier this season was the Suns luckiest of the year. We're gonna mess em up especially since yao has vastly improved and he always plays teams better the second time around.

I'm so pumped for the Laker game, Yao gonna Dominate Shaq!

They're saying Amare is rookie of the year, NO DOUBT, on ESPN Fastbreak right now.

Just because of this, I am sure the Rockets will win.
Yao will study the Suns and output full strength to win the Suns to secure his position as the ROY.

To answer who deserves ROY, people need to think this:
Say your team has both forward and center weaknesses.
Who would you rather have in your team, Yao or Amare?

It's a tough one. What are in stakes for both teams:

    1. Who is ROY.
    2. They are fighting for the same spot in playoff in every game.
    3. A win bears much more weight than a win of another team.

This is a MUST WIN situation for Rox, since suns are pulling away. Rox will win this one:

    1. Home game.
    2. If Suns lose tonight.

We need to have Posey to play big D on Marion, and Steve , at least, neutralizes Stephon if not outplay him. If we can do that we will win.

I am reading the scores of the Suns/Spurs game on the net. I am not able to watch the game so I don't know if it's the case but according to numbers, Duncan is killing Amare. Yao at least holds his own with anyone maybe except Shaq but we don't know yet. I know who I want.

    Is it

    Francis v Starbury
    Mobley v JJ
    Posey v Marion
    EG v Stodemire
    Yao v Voskhul

Ok, Starbury will go nuts against Francis' matador d. Marion may or may not get past Posey, but he meets Yao and Eddie in the middle. Stodemire can't bull like Shaq v. Eddie and Yao. So it's jumper nite for the Suns.

Rox should exploit Yao and Mobely. Suns can't double Yao like the Celts did - he should be able to get the ball low and get easy turn and hammer shots all nite. Mix it up. Mobes is better than JJ. We need a driver to foul Stodemire, though. That's Francis' job. Take it to the hole, Steve! Some Hawk, and some Cato oops could make this a nice game. Dribble dribble cross cross clank will be a horrible, painful self-destruction. Come on Rox! You can do this thing.

Does anybody watch the suns and the spurs game now? It seems like the suns are making a concious effort to get amare the ball. Marbury or Joe johnson just dished to amare for nasty tomahawk jam on pick and roll. If the suns make it so easy to get their 9th pick touches and easy scoring oppurtunity. Why is it so hard for the rockets to do the same way for their #1?

This is a big game. This is one of the teams we'll be competing with for a playoff spot. It also gives us momentum going into the highly publicized Rockets/Lakers matchup.

The key of course is containing Stoudamire, falling mainly on Griffin. Remember, in the summer league Griffin dropped 32 on Stoudamire, while Stoudamire scored 12.

A whole lot of athleticism is gonna be on that court...Francis, Marbury, Mobley, Marion, Posey, Griffin, Stoudamire. Should be a fun game to watch.

I think the key here is that you can't just the player's value by just stats...

players on opposing teams respects yao's offence and defence bigtime... he can control the game without scoring...

I honestly don't think there's a team out there that would take amare over yao...
