It's also not a surprise that Rockets lost to Wizzards and Knicks? I thought RudyT and some players made similiar mistakes in those games and they never changed.

You can't just say Spurs is a better team and no shame to lose to them. I think Rockets have pretty good chances to win over this SPURS team if this team is a little bit more well coached.

time to bench posey and griff. Start Mo and Rice. We cant wait for Griff to develop. we need to make theplayoffs. and why do we always look so confused on offense? i thought we were going to start making more cuts and slashes. more like NJ or Sac? we just stand around and watch, or ISO. ugh.

Well, their logic is, this is young team and need some time to develop. If Fans can tolerate it, owner of cuz can.

i think RM kept saying it (could've been RM95, can't remember) the refs were paid off. am i the only other one who got that sense? i mean i think mo tay got like 3 offensive fouls in the second half alone, all were off the ball, and all 3 came after we were making some sort of headway into the lead. and of course there is the continuing saga of yao getting hammered all the time with no call. the worst of all had to be when we were down 10, making our biggest run, yao has it, throws to a cutting steve who is fouled, loses the ball, no call, and the spurs get an easy layup on the break. and you know it was a foul b/c they called duncan for a foul on the cleanest block in history on EG the next time down. somehow eg going to the line instead of steve after giving the spurs a free layup isn't a make up call in my book. there was tons of bull**** from the refs today. we got ourselves down by 20. the refs made sure the spurs could just cruise and not actually have to hold off any sort of run (and we are good at making those as boston/wash showed so don't say we had no chance). yao has to start getting more calls, this is going way beyond rookie treatment, he simply does not get fouls called no matter how hard drob nails him on the arm as he goes up for a layup.

It's just painful to watch the Rockets these days. They just don't get it. We came out flat again and let SA shoot 70% in the 1st. :( You simply can't dig yourself into a big hole and tries to get out in the fourth. It doesn't happen in this league, espeically against quality teams.

Rudy T. really has past his prime. He's clearly outcoached in most games. Because of what he has done to the team and the city, he probably deserves another year. But if this team still doesn't show any improvements, a coaching change must be made.

The talents that we have simply do not mesh. We need to make some major changes to the roster this offseason. This team desperately needs a direction, otherwise they could become another clippers.

If the NBA is fixed, then the NBA wants these teams in the playoffs:

Jazz- the Malone/Stockton story, they will please old folks

    Lakers-obviously

    Suns-Stephon Marbury/Hardaway are top draws

That means that the Rox and Warriors are out.

I thought Yao-Shaq, Yao-Bradley matchup would be very interestin' for playoff, Rockets still get a lot of opportunities if they play a little bit better.

from a marketing standpoint, the nba would want the rockets to make the playoffs for the simple reason that it adds a couple more million viewers, even if they fall out of the first round. but people still want to see yao so even if the rox suck it up the rest of the season, i can see their being some intangibles for them to somehow make it in (maybe utah or phoenix dropping out). of course our knucklehead of a team has to be able to at least make there halfway by themselves.

Poor decision making killed us in this game. It wasn't just the turnvers, it was turning the ball over during crucial runs; it wasn't just taking bad shots, it was taking bad shots during crucial runs; it wasn't too many stupid fouls, it was too many stupid fouls...well, you get the idea. This didn't strike me as a sky-is-falling affair as much as did us just having one of those games.

Mo Taylor looks awesome. I'm glad he's finally back and good to go. And Eddie, I love the improvements in the post game. I love the hustle. Now, lets talk about that shot.

"Play Rice limited minutes,(10) he shoots 3 pointers only."

one of you moron texans said this. Unfortunately, he is represenative of most of you fans...no basketball I.Q. Too interested in frippery and style. Too confident in Mobley/Francis mircales. They are good yes, but this team needs to go away from them. We need to pass the ball to get open shots. We need to play play smart team defense and not rely on stoppers. We need to play Rice the majority at the 3.

"time to bench posey and griff. Start Mo and Rice."

suprisingly, another one of you silly Texans had this to say...and right they are. It is time to start our five smartest, most talented, and savvy players..not to mention those players who can all score at will at certain periods in a game. Rice and MO T should start..it's just obvious. James Posey and Eddie Griffin are not good for this team, and especially not good on the floor with Yao. Rudy T is a ming boggler...i wonder if living in Texas so long has given him Texan brains as well? It seems like it. Get you brains out of your cowboy hats and into the game...the idioacy spewed too often on this board is getting tiresome.

Well cockyass Californian, you are right as hell.

We need to start Glen Rice and Maurice Taylor.

But what the hell. I don't see any spectacular accomplishments in California.

The Rockets start off slow every game. This is a huge problem because the Rockets cannot come back every time, especially against a good team like San Antonio. At this point, notwithstanding the playoff hunt with Phoenix, I wouldn't even be surprised if Golden State catches up with us very soon.

I'm not talking about sports. Of course California owns in sports. Since you all have all the rich owners. It's not like golddiggers have to be smart. Acting doesn't take much brains either.

But this year....Dallas and San Antonio are on top.

SORRY. PEACE MAN. God. I like Glen Rice. You like Glen Rice. So yes. We have something in common. :)

The Spurs people are already raiding our board. Now all the people from Cali are speaking out.....

    After Francis fouled out.
    Rudy T. to Francis:
    Why did u foul him?
    Francis to Rudy:
I did not know I had 5 fouls!

It wasn't smart of Francis and the coaches weren't very helpful either! When I played intramural ball, we were aware of these things!! Can we expect the same of the pros?
