I am okay with the low post / page count. At least who care only put their thughts in. Also remember Rockets seem do be doing well as underdogs. Now that we are below underdogs, we might as well do some magic. The key would be Suns more than ourselves..........

You guys don't realize...most of the active posters were at the game...:p

Hell, what did Smeg's group have? like 20-30 people? I was a few sections down from you guys, and I saw a few of you as you were walking past ogling at the Power dancers signing autographs....(I was in line getting them :D)

    Anyways...great game. 2 more....and 3 suns losses...

I've not counted the Rockets out completely for this season. But I know every time I come to the board until next season that I'm going to see 10 new threads suggesting stupid trades, 4 threads blaming Steve, 3 threads blaming Yao, 3 threads blaming the coaches, and maybe 1 thread with worthwhile, well-thought-out discussion... if I'm lucky. I find that kind of depressing. So I'd like to ask to still be acknowledged as a true fan even if I don't feel like engaging in the endless finger-pointing that has gone on here all season.

Our little hope is that Seattle is 2-1 against the suns this year, but now that their mathematically out of it, and the Rockets are still in it, they'll probably put the hammer down. I think I would've been more optimistic about that game if the Sonics were to be the Spurs(tough thing to do I know) because they might've been still in the playoff race.

We BETTER hope that the suns lose these 2 games because they are 5-1 against the Spurs/Blazers this year.

Tru dat MM...I've tried to ignore all those damn negative threads esp. about Francis. I've stated over and over again many times why even the slight notion that Steve is a cancer is asinine. He's...never mind. I'm too tired.

but seriously. He's always either a)not a good ballplayer b)doesn't get it c)needs to be traded d)sucks. And it's sooo freaking annoying. Damnit.

You know, I love how people talk about how much talent the Bulls, Warriors, Clippers, Nuggets, etc. have and how when their players grow up the team will just be fantastic.. How they're so young...so inexperienced...

And strange how those people never ONCE realize that the Houston Rockets are the SECOND YOUNGEST team in the Assn.

    WAY further.... Malaysian.....:p

sometimes I dun understand why ppl here like to bash the player THAT much.... Francis is REALLY improving..... and yet ppl here are still bashing him..... bad habit takes hours to develop, getting rid of it takes more than a year.... hell, Francis took half a season (after all-star break) to get rid of his bad habit of ISOing, Dribbling, not passing..... he passed a lot more in the 2nd half of the season....

next season.... will be a different season for the Rockets.... they will be in the playoffs next season.... I BELIEVE!!!!

hm.... when is the last time I hear ppl here saying 'Believe'? not this season..... man, I miss the old BBS..... when everyone is a ROCKETS fan..... not individual player fans.....

I usually don't post a commentary on the game when I post here, only at another forum, so I'll just copy/paste that post into here... :)

WOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT A ****ING GAME!!! :D

Francis/Mobley with 17 pts each, Steve with 7 assists, 7 rebs, a MONSTER DUNK to end the first quarter.

Glen Rice and Eggie with 15 pts each, Eddie with 7 rebounds.

Posey was hustling the whole game, came up with 4 steals! THIS IS ROCKETS BASKETBALL! :D

7 players in double figures. Ray Allen with 6 ****ing points? Who says Cuttino isn't a good defender. Allen Iverson 8 pts? Ray Allen 6 pts?

Yao with a quiet 10 pts...he sat out all of the 2nd and most of the 4th.

My bro got to take a pic with Mo Taylor... <----Jealous.
I got Bill Worrell's autograph *Rockets TV Play By Play*

took a bunch of pics *most were from kinda far...only the last few were from close *I moved up:p**

    Anyways.....I love this team...:D

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROCKETS! COME ON SPURS! COME ON PORTLAND! GOOOOOOOOO SONICS ON APRIL 16TH!!! :D

finalsbound, I agree with your "analysis". I too believe our hope dies with that Seattle game. The only thing I want to add is that I am afraid Lewis may not give 100% (No, I am not saying that he will try to lose on purpose... just that he will not mind losing that game as much as other games). Payback is a b!tch...

    re: low post count...
the active posters that were in HTown, were at the game
The rest of the posts that normally go in here are from the ppl who love to b****, and there wasnt much to b**** about tonite..
that explains it all right there.
