because they are jamming up the lane! are you even watching the game?! there are 3 people around the paint at all times...they are daring us to shoot the mid range shot...which we aren't making. Jeez.

    Drose,

Stop calling people an idiot. Yao Ming has not had very many touches in this game and none in the second quarter. BTW, he is the only one shooting 50 percent or better from the floor and he has no turnovers. If you think Yao Ming is hurting us with 3 of 6 and Francis and Posey should take more shots when they are shooting only 2 for 13 combined then I have to question your intelligence.

I don’t blame it on Steve being selfish but because I think the Rockets are impatient and trying to get back in the game quick by shooting threes. Unfortunately they are missing and falling further behind.

Say what you want about Posey being the best defender on the team but Hawk has been much better tonight and he is much less disruptive on the offensive end. Posey really kills us on the offensive end worse than any player that I have seen since Shandon Anderson.

It's easy to get down on the Rockets right now, what with them doing so badly. But they're living proof that a big lead at halftime doesn't mean much in the NBA.

The Rockets main problem isn't that they're bad players. They're just not playing like they think they can win this one. They have no fire tonight. They don't look like a team that expects to make the playoffs.

Yao needs plenty of touches, but not so much that he can score 30 points, because Yao really isn't that good at this point. He needs to get the ball so that he can learn through trial and error how to get to the basket in the NBA and start dominating every night in a couple of years. This is still a learning year.

Still, it's no fun watching your team being blown out by chumps like the Wizards. Then again, welcome to Houston!

Well, there's not much of a choice there. In this new era of zone defenses, opposing teams can pretty much clog the middle and force you to beat them from the outside. Hence why teams like Dallas and Sacramento are so good all of a sudden.

This is something the Rockets will have to address in the offseason. They need outside shooters. Right now, all they've got is Steve and, once every five games it seems, Rice. I don't know if the answer lies in a free agent acquisition, a trade(Mobley?), or maybe in Nachbar, but they better find it.

Man, in NBA, if you can't hit open shots, you are doomed and you deserve to lose.

Thank God. We have a few buckets. Yao needs to patrol the paint better. Got stuffed. We still need new plays.

Well as far as i see the Wiz were just so hot and the Rox were so cold, when MJ plays like that, there's nothing to can do, 40 or not he's still Jordan. I don't think the wiz can stay hot like that from the perimeter for 48 mins. I think the Rockets have a good change to win this. This game is very similar to the previous game they played.

Darn, Francis is off. We still should run pick and rolls for him, so he can take it to the whole, or get an an assist.
