What a horrible game for Steve Francis and James Posey. For Steve I can say with confidence that he will not have many shooting nights like this one. It kind of reminded me of the game in LA a few weeks ago.

But games like this are looking more and more like a normal James Posey game. A lot of energy and a ton of athleticism but no discernible basketball IQ and now offense at all. With each passing game Posey is looking more and more like a failed experiment.

uh if you couldnt tell i was being sarcastic then you... oh nevermind its a lost cause with some people....

i wonder if steve just thought about all those steve haters out there so instead of shooting like he wants he decided( yes a bit late) to pass instead of shoot to quit everyone about him being a ball hog???

im sure if he would have shot and missed everyone would have said he is a ball hog who should have passed... but he knows if the ball doesnt go in no matter who shot or passed(or even if a TO shoulda woulda coulda been called) the result will be becuase of steve.... steve knows it everyone here knows it, for the rest or this year we live and die with steve

The officiating was terrible. There were so many fouls particularly on Yao down load. In the fourth quarter and the OT period, you could see six hands on Yao down load all the time and there was no call. The three blocks were quite clean. It was because when Yao had the ball 5 or 6 feet from the basket, all his teamates stood still watching. Yao was sometimes double or trible teamed with his teamate(s) stood still close by. A couple of blocks were caused by that. Haywood don't need to guess; all Yao can do is to put up desperate shots against 2 or 3 defencemen and no open teamates because the helps were running closely between Yao and his teamates.

The officiating got worse in the OT period. MJ wrestled down TM before he got the ball and took a wide open 5-feet shot because of that. No call. Yao went download and he was mugged by 3 defencemen. No call. The next play, MJ came down and shot over two Housetons but blocked cleanly by Yao. Now, there was a call - a goaltending call against Yao. The next play, MJ missed, Yao got the rebound; and quickly send Franchise, who instead of call a time out or pushed the ball hard, he tried to dribble X-Z sideway around the lone defenceman. Eventually, he jumped up faking a 3-point shot but dropped it off to Mobley, who looked surprised and threw a desperate miscue.

    Unbelievable. Rox lost the game.

Michael Oakley? Rox need Oakley types player who are willing
to lay hard fouls on oppensing players whenever they drive into the lane. If we had him in our team today, with him whacking
MJ, Stack or whoever, we would have won the game.

Do you think it would work if we made you a Suns fan? Perhaps we can make you a Suns fan and get you to watch every game . . . we're sure to make the playoffs then! :)

Steve should sit for a few games. His back badly hurt. I saw his painful expression several times. With him on the court, it was killing us. We lost the game because of his injury but stubborn to play.

I don't know about Posey. What happens to such a trade. I would rather have KT back as EG is not playing well either. My goodness, how many games we have dropped since the trade.

Wow. It's not just a coincidence, it's a FREAKIN' COINCIDENCE! I believe that you've merely missed too many televised games, and the Rox have not been the winningest (is that a word?) of teams in the last few years.

This was also what happened in the knicks game and many other games. Basically when the two guards are hot, they don't pass the ball to anybody. If one of them is off, they pass the ball to Yao but nobody moves while Yao is desperate in a double team or triple team. The rox players have great personal skills. They just don't know how to play like a team. I wonder what they were doing in practice. Do they ever practice to play team ball during the trainings?

In hindsight it's easy to say call the TO. But no one was saying that when Yao grabbed the board. The broadcasters sure didn't say it at the time. After the rebound it looked like it was going to be a 3 on 2 or some type of fast break. I think they should have called it once they realized they didn't have numbers.

I thought we talked this to death. :) Almost of our players except Ming are stupid team basketball wise. SF and Cat are great playground ballers. This would be awesome if we were playing the All Star game or the Washington Generals, but we're not. This all goes on Rudy's shoulders. If doesn't know how to play that way, he should hire someone to help. If he doesn't sit people who ignore him, it's Rudy's fault for not having cojones.

i'm pissed after reading RocketGuy3's post now. during the celtics game, i realized i was a curse in chat and left. when i saw us get back to a tie, did i start chatting again, no. when i saw it in OT, did i give in, no. and you know what, we won. all because of me. and now you go and cost us a game. real nice. go f*** yourself.

i am completely just kidding of course (except the part about boston, i did leave and we won).

Interesting. The Yao-hating troll have reared his frustration and prejudice on the YaoM|ngMania dot com discussion board recently. But he's trying to maximize the minimal use of his brain cell by pretending to be a Yao Ming Maniac by stating he "loves Yao", is a great "fan of Yao", etc, and then he starts all the pathetic trash talk about Yao not being a good rebounder, and his genetics, etc. He even pats on his own back under a different handle name, and affirms to himself how he's "so right", and that everyone else need to go to school and read a book or some funny bs like that. It's really a most awkwardly funny thing how he gets burned and just keeps up the bs, oblivious to his sorry state; pretending to be an Asian Yao Ming fan and say absurd things to overemphasize the Yao Ming bandwagon. The same Polypheus-Morpheus character with new handle names again.
