man, if Yao is given more green light to shoot the 3, can you imagine what he would like in 2 or 3 yrs when add more weight in his upper body? a big man with skill and inside post and the ability to light up of 3 while shooting 80% FG, tell me how to stop Yao?!

IS THAT NOT A ******* FOUL!!! the rule book states you cannot put your HANDS ON THE OPPONENT. seriously they do this to Yao every time, but it like the refs say,"well...uh...hey how else are they gonna stop him....he's 7'6...we have to give them some advantage."

just wanted something else to talk about,.....an avenue of escape.....I know....its not important anymore.

When Yao adds more weight he will rarely be asked to shoot threes b/c he will be so dominant in the paint. Yao being able to shoot threes will be more like a luxury to have on "special" plays I bet. But not a regular occurance.

Am I watching a defensive lineman ready to sack a quarterback?

That's a sweet angle of Yao's three! Took a while to load, though, but worth the wait. :)

Man, I hate not getting to see the good games. Did somebody say this was Steve's first tripple double? For the season, but he's had a few for his career. I know his first did come against Golden State, back in 2000. I wish I could have watched Ming's 3 pointer. I don't know if we really want to make that a regular play though, unless he can hit as often as Dirk does, but since Yao is the best rebounder we have, he's better utilized under the basket.

Yeah, I can imagine. If Yao was outside shooting 3's, he'd say "Hey, this is a lot easier than fighting in the post, I think I'll stay out here." And then he would turn into big perimeter softy.
Yao shouldn't start shooting 3's until he is more comfortable playing in the post, maybe 2-3 years from now.

    Great game!

But let me ask you this: Why on earth does Earl Boykins always lit us up?

Earl Boykins has alot of heart! the Warriors look better than they have in awhile. He takes that team to another level with his bigtime play!!!

It is because he plays point guard. When all the opposing point guards have there best games against the Rockets, the problem should be obvious. Our PGs CAN'T PLAY DEFENSE.

Or, Stupid', it could have to do with the fact that "Big" Boykins has these 'out of his mind' games every now and then. Which is my bet since I personally saw him torch the Lakers -- with Fisher and Kobe guarding him -- in LA earlier this season.

Sometimes with guys like that -- much like Damon Stoudamire his rookie season -- you don't have an answer for them. They are so small and can easily get underneath shotblockers and through seems. You just tip your cap to him. He's been doing that all season for GS...he is called their "spark plug" for a reason.

On another note, same issue (defense). I was worried about Griffin/Mo Taylor-Jamison matchup. He made them his b**** in the first half (what good PF don't, though?). I'm glad we put Posey on him in the second-half -- 0-8 one point, nice! :D First time in a while I remember Posey actually playing somewhat like the poor man's Ron Artest I thought he was when the Rox traded for him.

This win only supports the obvious, Yao Ming is the future of this team. The off season should be focused on building a new Rocket's team around him.

It also supports that Steve can be a great "true PG" with
terrific offensive sets. Yao + Steve will be the cornerstone
    of the Rox Dynasty.

    Okay.

    The Warriors can't play defense.
We were supposed to win. :)

    Yao Ming's 3 was wonderful.

    Good game.

They have a good team though.
